I have had mine just 3 weeks, but it has exceeded my expectations, the Tremor pkg is the best of all worlds in my opinion. It is one of the best riding trucks I have ever driven....I would love to see what a tune would do, especially in terms of shift profiles.
I am getting 9.5-10L/100km highway and 11-12 city, so I am happy plus this is a Tremor so there are a few factors that handicap things in terms of tires and level
Where do I start???
The radio and NAV head unit died twice
Front end had multiple issues with bushings and the brakes were terrible
The leather seats were total crap and looked like they were 100 years old after one year
Had several electrical issues where the thing went completely dead leaving...
It is all about personal preferences, I drove both the XLT and Lariat Tremors, for me the XLT lacked too many creature comforts plus I am on the road a lot for work, and I am in and out of the truck many time a day, so fumbling around for keys 15-20 times a day was a deal breaker
I have had my Ranger for a few weeks now and I came from a fully loaded 2019 Lariat F150. The overall quality seems to be on par with the price point, we also own an Escape and I am happy with the overall quality. No manufacturer is perfect, we had a Dodge Journey, what a mistake buying that...
Just picked some up at Canadian Tire, works really well and easy to apply. Also got some Chemical Guys Tire Kicker tire shine, again good product and a big plus that Crappy tire carries both for all my Canadian Ranger brothers and sisters.
I hear you, my turbo has an eco tune so it is about 230hp, my buddy has a Sidewinder tuned to 270hp, that thing is crazy fast and it rides great as he had the suspension set up by a pro. I really want to try the SkiDoo 900t, that seems like the best of both worlds, although I still like the 2...
I love my 1100 turbo, have a 2016 1100t and a 17 ZR6000. On tight twistys it is a bit of a heavy sled, but up in N Ont where the trails are like highways, the turbo is just amazing.
Agree with most of the comments on here, little things tend to mean a lot especially on a Lariat trim. I almost didn't buy a 2021 for this reason as I assume the 22's will have way better tech and the redesign will address some of the shortfalls we currently have.
Got the tow hooks in, way more aero, should be good for another 5hp, along with the damper and tray insert I should be pushing 20hp…..I know, I know the license plate is beat to crap, replacements have been ordered…lol
Roush does build a nice truck they are unique and look really good but most people don’t have money to burn and look at alternatives such as a Tremor or adding a level and aftermarket wheels and accessories. All the Roush trucks I have seen are all XLT’s and that is deal breaker for me personally
I just got a Tremor with a tonneau, I am looking at a battery powered one as I won’t really use it that much but I had it on my F150 and it was handy at night.
