10-4 ... I think I inherited that one in your pic when my dad passed away. I’m not even sure I kept it but if so it is deep in my storage areas of my shop.
I seem to remember a post about the PC and the newer type 1 vs type 2 and that the older generation was better in some respects. But I will...
I hate to attempt CPR on an old thread, yet I'm not a fan of creating duplicates either. I have bone spurs in both shoulders so I'd like to protect my shiny new black finish but not suffer for a week afterwards. I've never owned or used a polisher and the options are dizzying. I get it rarely is...
Never done this with my Ranger but have with previous F-150 and Ram 1500 intermittently witth no issues. Also have a number of friends in construction, landscaping, etc that have never detached their trailer. Never heard one complaint.
Will do. BTW, the best price I found was at Midwest Aftermarket. They were listed on Pace Edwards site as an authorized dealer. The guy they were running a sale, not sure when it runs out. Next best price I got was right at $900.
I chose the Pace Edwards Switchblade because it was the second least expensive ($820) retractable cover that I found and also because it didn’t have a keyed lock. It arrived yesterday afternoon and I was able to get it installed in about an hour. I really like being able to unlock the tailgate...
Welcome! I too passed on a new generation Ram mainly due to price. I’m a big guy and didn’t think the Ranger would fit me but it’s not bad. Definitely gave up a lot from my Longhorn package but I likely would have gotten the Laramie in a newer Ram. Cost of new trucks is ridiculous. Prior to the...
I just ordered the Pace Edwards Switchblade from one of the authorized dealers on their site, Midwest Aftermarket. I paid $829.00 shipped which was much less than anywhere else I could find.
I liked this one as it locks withe tailgate (no other lock/key to deal with). I did not need it to lock...
What the .,-?! I’ve been here for 30 years and am just now hearing this
Not sure about PrattVegas but there are minimal car washes near me. I think Circle K which is not touchless and then a rebadged GooGoo in Wetonka that is fairly worn out.
My previous trucks got worked more than this...
I’ve had a multitude of vehicles. Those with dino oil got changed at 5k. Those with synthetic got changed either at 7.5k or 10k. Oil analysis from multiple companies always suggested oil change interval could be extended. Now I’ve never been a person that subjected the vehicles to harsh...
I’ve had 16 cars/trucks (5 Fords) and 3 motorcycles in 32 years of driving. Crazy that I had the last F-150 for ten years. Most were bought on a whim or desperate need replaced too quickly. I wasted a lot of money over the years.
My vehicles:
82 Honda Accord
76 Pontiac Ventura
90 Pontiac...
Well I’ve “retired” from motorcycles and hunting so I’m down to woodworking and cooking as pastimes. i am currently reconfiguring my shop into mechanics/lawn stuff on one side and dedicated woodworking on the other.
Also we live on a 14 acre pasture that my wife won’t let me get any livestock...
Would love to see Ram do a Dakota in the new Ram 1500 style.
For me, to complete your above statement... I would love a new regular cab Ranger or Tacoma very inexpensive in 4x4 with a manual transmission. But my definition of inexpensive wouldn’t meet their definition. If that happened I might...
I’ve been following your thread and was wondering if they just hadn’t updated the other prices yet as you said this truck was a new arrival so it may have been first to get the new discounts.
I despise buying vehicles as my mom used to work at a couple of dealerships and told me a lot of...
I made my first trip to Lowes in it yesterday to pick up some pvc and routed it through the sliding window. Wish it was power but its not too big of a deal. Getting more accustomed to the smaller truck and no issues so far.
Thankfully have never had a problem with my vehicles, mowers or tractor. But when I first built this house four years ago the 14 acres was part of a 120 acre cow pasture. It was overrun with voles and field mice. I built my metal building first and later the house and soon after got a barn cat...
Great pickup for y’all! I came very close to getting an F150 w/2.7 but decided to go smaller this time as my family is now grown. You have to buy what suits your needs, you did well.
