I did the DPFE sensor ... and had high hopes since the bucking and surging has become an issue in recent weeks on my truck (I have 82K miles on a 2019 FX4 Lariat ).
Replaced the DPFE and still have a bit of the issue, especially cold ... it is worst than it was months ago.
After reading this...
Same thing here .. 2019 Lariat that I am extremely pleased with ... the tranny has always been a little "hunty" but I believe within spec for the R10 tranny.
Lately at just over 80K miles mure of a shudder or pulse at light load or slowing down at 50 mph or so ... just replaced the LB5Z9J433B...
I would love to have a super suspension but do get a buzz from riding my hardtail (less than $1300) and putting miles on every summer .... I love tech and nice stuff but never can see myself going over $2K on a bike, ever.
Great thread!
I would get Goodyear Endurance Trailer tires. Higher PSI and load rating .... a much better tire than the prior Marathon Trailer tire ... I am also a fan of Maxxis
I am sure you all know this but in case it helps anyone .... you should loosen the master cylinder cap when pushing in the caliper pistons, it helps allow the fluid to rise a bit easier ...
Now for the original poster and replies ... former C clamp guy here and it ticks me off when you have to...
Ok ... I have the Line-X in my Ford Ranger and added a foam mat (mostly for when we camp in our bed tent), I have an F-150 with just the Ford Rubber mat, and I wish I had Line-X or the spray liner in that truck.
Spray in liner is my vote, hands down.
Really happy with my 2019 FX4 Lariat, I agree the suspension at low speeds can be bouncy, but the highway ride and lack of noise have left me ok with it. I tow a ski boat and SxS from time to time and I love it, great little truck.
I may replace the shocks someday but 63k miles in andnot...
I went with LineX on my 2019 and love it, I also have a mat down that is easy clean. My F-150 has the rubber mat and no Line-X and I sometimes want to do it to that truck ... love the spray liners.
Hi everyone - I love my 2019 Ranger - (we also have owned F150 and Expy's) ... love the Ranger.
From an electronics standpoint, I was happy BUT .....
I just rented a car on business for a week a 2022 Durango that had a sweet screen, wireless charging, and Carplay ....
Besides updating the...
Ok, I'll bite ... bought a 2019 simply because I really liked it at First sight, did not plan to get it ... it has been a loyal highway Dad cruiser for me as I manage around work and 2 kids in their college years. 44K miles on the clock in 2 years, and no real issues.
Still enjoy the looks and...
Wow ... you all have sweet looking trucks! Well done! I have my 2019 and love the Magnetic with FX4, but darn it ... I should have gone blacked out .... darn it .... pic here anywhere just to sob ;)
