Yeah definitely.. it's been about a month since I installed front and rear together and it feels more settled and fairly "cushy." When I aired down and drove over some rough patches, that's where I could really feel the absorption capability of the kit. I was watching a ton of you tube videos...
That's funny.. When I bought my truck it came with side steps.. They protruded out much more than the ones you have. I hated the look of them and just knew I'd clip them on something.. So I took them off. After installing the 2.5 coilover kit and putting on the 33's, my wife is complaining about...
Thanks! Your truck looks sweet! Do you know if the Deavers have the 0
Thanks! Your truck looks sweet! I can see you have a few things on your truck that are next, on what's becoming my never-ending list, lol.
I'm really considering the Deaver leaf pack. Do you know if the payload and tow...
So far I've been really happy with the Icons on the road. But mine aren't even broken in yet. I have less then 1,000 miles on them and I heard it takes about 1,000 miles before they "settle" and need to be re-torqued along with a realignment. I'm not at that point yet. But so far I like the way...
I just read and heard from a lot of different guys about having rubbing issues with the stock wheels when trying to run 285's. The biggest issue is the stock offset, which I believe is around +55. That's why the spacers would need to come into play with stock wheels. Even with spacers, I think...
With just the coilover, UCA's and rear shocks, I'm running 285/70/17 tires, which is about a 33" tire. Technical spec is 32.7". But that was only possible with aftermarket wheels, with a different backspace and offset from stock. Some guys on here kept the wheels stock, but had to use spacers...
That kit looks like a solid setup. My control arms aren't billet either. I think the billet one's are for guys who want to make constant adjustments on the fly. I didn't think I'd need that. I'll probably make any adjustments when I do an alignment from time to time. I'm curious how the new...
I've got the front 2.5 coilovers and rear 2.5 shocks , along with their Upper Control Arms. So I think stage 3? It doesn't feel stiff at all so I haven't done the leaf springs yet.. I want to see how that goes. Because I have the tow pkg too and tow a bit. I heard the stock leafs are good for...
Thanks for the feedback. What about the MPG consumption after installing the tune? Are any of you guys that are also running bigger tires noticing any improvement in the mileage with the tune?
Has anyone paired the Livernois tune with a cold air intake? I'm thinking about getting their tune and also adding a Roush cold air intake. I just installed a 2.5 coilover with 33" tires.. So I'm definitely feeling the hit in MPG. I'm hoping to get some of that back. Any feedback is appreciated.
This truck has definitely turned into a new addiction. Someone on here said that "spending on mods for the ranger is more expensive than a bad drug habit." I couldn't agree more.
I just put on this new Icon 2.5 coilover kit, with upper control arms and rear shocks. I also added 285/70/17 Nitto...
