Nope, I traded in my Fiesta ST to get the $2000 loyalty trade in rebate and sold my 2012 Escape hunting rig thinking I'd have the truck by the end of October like they said when I ordered it (a bit deceptive IMO). I need something that can handle snow and has room for all my gear so they gave...
My truck was built yesterday right on schedule. So how accurate are the estimated dealer delivery dates? They have mine at Dec 2. Not sure if this is a default value, average for that dealer or actually calculated. That's almost 3 weeks to get from Detroit to St Paul. Dealer says 2 weeks...
From what I know there are 2 ways to lift/level a vehicle with factory length struts.
#1. A longer spring or a spring preload collar. This effectively takes up the up the top-out travel to raise the height but maintains the overall stroke travel of the shock. Over rough terrain you risk...
I was too cheap to upgrade to the heated seats but they are a must have where I live. Anyone DIY one of these kits, or had someone install them?
I have a cheap heated seat pad that works great but don't like the look or hassle of them...
Yes but I'm looking for an actual mud flap, not solid mud guards which most of that thread is about. Apparently it's a terminology thing.
Autonation has the rubber Ford flaps (and all Ford accessories) at a significant discount. Full set MSRP $165, they have them for $126. That just happens...
Supercab 6' bed? So if they actually had a plan to produce them (build the molds) why didn't anyone at Leer say so? They are known for crappy customer service and it cost them my business. Besides, ARE is a better topper :)
Thanks that's just what I was looking for. But how did you find that price? When I looked there earlier today I could only find the $489 price. I'll call there tomorrow since that's where I bought my truck.
edit: I was linked to the Ford website for the $489 price. I wasn't on the...
Looking to get the full BedRug classic bed liner (6' bed) but everyone lists the MSRP of $439 w/ free shipping. I'm guessing that's a requirement for on-line sales. Are there cheaper options?
I'd like some real flaps, not the molded snow and mud catchers. The OEM rubber ones are outrageously expensive. So far I like the RokBlokz but not sure of what size to get with the FX4 package (stock tires). They don't say what size they are in the pics, but they could be longer.
Still no...
My truck gets assembled tomorrow so it's time to buy stuff. The only full set (front and rear) of WeatherTech floor liners I can find for the Supercab is at their website which is $197 with shipping (Panda doesn't list the rears). That's the full retail price. Anyone find them elsewhere...
If the rings were "washed out" or broken it would burn oil and smoke. I would have them change to oil and have them note the level then drive another 2000 miles. An oil test could be helpful too but I doubt they will trust the results. A compression test would verify if the rings are an issue...
I understand why but some of you guys are really paranoid about warranty issues but it's just a catch can, it literally does nothing but catch oil. If it was put on wrong it would throw a code and even then it could not cause this issue. You also have to understand, this isn't like an...
That's very odd. Would take some serious blowby to do that in 1800 miles. Did you notice poor gas mileage? Did you check the oil level when you first got it?
PM me the name if you want maybe I can find out more. They've been very accommodating to me (I'm driving one of their loaner 4x4 escapes until my truck gets here) but they are still car salesman. I'm also interested in how some guys ordered trucks around the same time as me but have much...
While a tune (mountune) pepped up my Fiesta ST's 1.6L ecoboost it seems to me all tuning does on a stock motor is require the use of premium fuel. Short of a bigger turbo you really need a larger intercooler and a freer flowing downpipe to get the most out of tuning. You might encounter a...
Asked again on their FB page still no answer. So f*ck Leer, I just ordered an ARE CX Evolve. I'm sick of their well known crappy customer service which isn't worth the 100-200 buck savings. ARE is a better topper anyway and will arrive in 6 weeks, which is before my truck will.
