Nope, my local dealer was great but Leer corp wouldn't even answer his questions -

Good luck with getting straight answers Leer, they have the worst customer service ever.
The issues with COVID on hard surfaces is not how long the virus "lives" it's how long it remains infectious. There are vaccines like polio that actually use live viruses but they don't make people sick.
What have others done to to rear seating area on a SCab for storage options besides remove the seat cushions? I'm thinking of making my own rear seat delete panels to cover up the seat backs, and glue carpet to the hard plastic so stuff doesn't slide around as easily back there. The area is...
I was thinking about an RTT then I saw these. The smaller version can be used as an RTT with a platform. Not cheap but less than an RTT and you still have use of your truck. Setup in 30 seconds.

Thanks. Looks just like my motorcycles albeit a larger spring. With them you just turn the collar, no need to relieve spring pressure. So do they provide guidance on how to set different ride heights? I know the ratio isn't 1:1 (1" longer/shorter = 1" lift/drop), does anyone know what it is?
Do you have a link or a price from Rack Attack? I can't believe how much Rhino, Thule and Yakima get for a simple system that's basically extruded aluminum tracks and bars.
Also does anyone know if the Rhino tracks work with other bases? My topper came with universal tracks that work with...
Looks like the ride height adjustment on the Fox 2.0 is via threaded collars, or am I missing something? That way you could raise and lower at will just have to make sure they are the same.
Somewhere there is a video of installing roof rack tracks on a US Ranger like the Aus version (Rhinorack?). I would think you can use any universal track, after all the roof was designed for one but in the US it's covered up with a plastic strip. I want to do this come spring..
Anybody run these with less than 2" of front lift? I don't want to fully level my truck for several reasons so I'm looking at maybe +1". I'm guessing less than the full ride height will be softer, but how much compared to stock?
Edit: I'm keeping stock FX4 wheels and tires
There's a difference between flaps and guards. If you are concerned about looks and rock chips molded guards like WT or the OEM work fine. Beyond that they are snow and mud collectors. In those conditions you need flexible flaps. You can even have issues if it freezes overnight.
The RB XL...
I never knew this and I fold them in everyday in the garage. But I never knew the package I order had them in the first place. It was like, what's this button for? Cool!
I was hoping to have a thread on things you didn't know and/or question the logic. It's not about things you like, it's stuff you found that's not in the owner's manual and wonder WTF?
I thought there was a thread on unusual odd things we’ve found with our trucks but couldn’t find it. Here’s what I came up with during the first 1000 miles.
When you turn the steering wheel while on autostop the engine starts and stays running. So if you want to start the engine w/o taking...
Mine had about 3 washes in it too! Washer fluid is a methanol/water mix which is why it's only good to -20F. We've had colder nights than that but I've never seen it freeze. However when it's that cold you don't need your wipers :p.
How about using this stuff on the plastic door pillars where the seat belt buckles always hit when you take them off fast? It makes a very annoying cheap plastic sound. I'm guessing it leaves marks but I haven't looked.
