Trailer weight is about 6,800 after I filled it.
Tongue was around 10-11% so right at the limit of 750.
Gas mileage on the highway was around 12mpg. Going around 65-70 MPH
The furthest distance I went was only 170 miles.
Just an update if anyone still cares lol. I have taken my 33' 6,000 lb dry freedom express on about a dozen camping trips. I have had 0 issues and 0 scared. The ranger handles it without any issues. It's a very capable truck and very happy with the Ranger.
I have had about 8 people approach me...
I took mine to the dealership and they installed a TBC. I believe it's a draw tite.
I thought about the Hensley Arrow or ProPride but I couldn't drop the 3k. I have a Curt TruTrack on my setup and it works pretty good.
I just got the Auxitos 6,500k 1:1 H11 / 9500 for low and high beams. Just finished putting them in and they are great. Cutoff is great and produces a nice light. Glad I read this thread I was gonna go with something entirely different. So far though loving the Auxitos! They are bright but not...
Well guys pulled it home 20 miles in a Florida rainstorm going about 55-60 MPG.
Multiple semis past and I felt it not gonna lie but nothing terrible or crazy. Engine was idling about 2000/2500 RPM the whole time pulling.
So I took my dad with me who tows heavy ass trailers all the time and he seemed to think I'd be fine. We want ahead and are going to get this RV.
We hooked it up to the truck without a WD hitch and the truck sat level. I am still concerned about the length a little bit but we shall see..
I'm...
Let's start off by saying I am new to towing and new to the ranger since I just got my 2020 XL CrewCab 4x4.
My Dad and Father in law think I'd be okay towing this however they don't have rangers and I wanted opinions from on here who have experience with the ranger.
I am never going anywhere...
