Drove on the sand using the Sand terrain mode. Drives very nicely. A Tundra got stuck just ahead of me on soft sand. The Ranger had zero issues at the same spot.
Totally agree that this is a clueless article. The sales are totally constricted by manufacturing start up volume issues. And if you can only build X number of trucks, they might as well be the higher priced ones for now.
If they were building a ton of $27,000 trucks you couldn't keep them...
I just got my Supercab on Tuesday. Waited 13-14 weeks. I think it looks better than the crew. I need the tailgate space and I also have an F250 supercab and am used to it.
I will try to climb in back tomorrow.
Dealer called and truck came in this afternoon. Picked it up this evening. Supercab.
Came in 14 days early, but not surprising since there was over three weeks allocated to shipping by truck a distance of 90 miles. The dealer said he put a rush on the truck hauling part of the journey and...
My truck was delivered to the rail yard on Tuesday. The date at the bottom of the window sticker stayed 4/26 (when it left Detroit).
Now after sitting at the railyard for 4 days, today the date on window sticker bottom changed to 5/3.
Does this mean it’s on the truck to the dealer...
@Pioneer74 Huge thanks for this info. Delivery still says 21st of May even through it is now sitting 90 truck hauler minutes away.
I called my dealer to let them know and they said they would try and put a rush on it so it doesn't sit waiting 3 weeks for a car carrier. Didn't realize the...
That’s close to the 7500. My utility trailer is about 2200 lbs. it’s a 10,000 lb capacity trailer. I know the 7500 lb models are lighter but not by much.
I’m also interested in how it handled the towing. I normally use my F250 with the utility trailer.
Ok, so my window sticker changed on 4/26. 1FTER1FH5KLA33401
My guess is it will be on CSX to the Vehicle Facility in Jessup, MD, before being driven to dealer 90 minutes away in VA. Any way to find out which rail car it's on? And tracking that CSX rail car?
Sounds like the main control module has a memory problem or something. I would get them to swap it out. Definitely agree that it needs to be documented at the dealer.
I've read here that the Tracker only updates once a day, but I can confirm that is NOT the case.
My truck went into production on 4/11/19 with a blend date of 4/18.
The tracker kept saying in production even though my FordPass allowed activation yesterday morning. Because of the FordPass...
I've been so addicted to checking the online status of my truck that I forgot this was Easter weekend and the Michigan Plant is probably closed since Thursday night. My blend date was Thursday the 18th, but no FordPass activation yet, but the date on the bottom of my Window Sticker did update...
I've had several white fords over the years including my last two pickups. I went with silver on the Ranger but now looking at your truck, I do like that white color. Looks great.
My delivery date just changed today from 5/12 to 5/19. Blend date is still the same at 4/18. Hard to imagine it will take 30 days to go from Michigan to Virginia. The delivery date started with 5/5 and has now slipped twice.
