Went offroading over the weekend and I noticed the front end making a knocking noise on the front passenger side when going over bumps. It rides very smooth otherwise and I don't notice a rattle in the steering or anything. I did some fairly intense offroading that included some big steps up and...
Fuelly reports 22.1 MPG over the 20,000 miles I've done. My truck usually shows 2-2.5 mpg better than what Fuelly says. No noticeable difference when I added leveling kit and wheels/tires went from 265/60/18 to 255/75/17.
My best on Fuelly was 26.5mpg and that was 100% freeway cruising at 68 on...
How are these holding up? Since you said they were jammed in, are they staying in but just a toguh squeeze to get them in? I'm thinking of doing this too.
I got me some wheels and tires from a Big Bend Bronco. Went from 265/60/18 to 255/75/17. Just need to find me some center caps to get the Bronco off lol
Thanks for the info and ice looking truck! I'm in AZ but hoping to get up to CO this summer and do some wheeling and camping. Maybe I'll see you out on the trails!
Thanks for clarifying! I'm thinking about going with the same tire size as you. I've got it leveled. No issues with rubbing anywhere? Those steelies are stock with the +55 offset correct?
I just put Bilstein 5100's on that are more of a leveling kit than a lift. Brought the front up 2.5". I currently have the stock 265/60/18 on my 2019 and am thinking about going to a 275/70/17. Would that work with what I've got going on? Willing to cut crash bars and have some offset if necessary.
I'm about to put Bilstein 5100s on my 2019 Ranger and wanted to know if there's anything else that needs to be adjusted once leveled. I assume headlights do, and I know it'll need an alignment. My main question is about the adaptive cruise control radar, does that need to be adjusted at all...
Sweet, thanks for the insight. I figured a 2.5 kit would probably be too much, I'm just a typical guy who likes to spend too much money on my hobbies lol. I still might go for the 2.0 kit, but the price difference of the 5100's is appealing.
I plan on getting into some tires in the 32-33" inch...
I'm probably over thinking this but this is the first truck that I have upgraded suspension on. I have a 2019 FX4 Lariat and I currently have Bilstein 5100s ordered for the rear and plan on doing the front within a few months. For the front, I was thinking about doing the Fox 2.5s. Will this be...
The 300W is fine, I think in the Ranger it is actually 150W according to the manual. I figured they would advertise as pure sine wave if it was, just wanted to ask.
I have an ecoflow solar generator and the warranty is voided if its charged via a source that isn't a pure sine wave. I suppose I could daisy chain a dc to ac converter and then use a DC to AC pure sine wave inverter but I don't really like that idea.
I've seen my fair share of Rangers being used as commercial vehicles in AZ, a few being used by municipalities and utility companies. Even seen a Maverick that's being used as a commerical vehicle.
