  1. Stock Ride height to the chassis rail at the rear wheels

Thank you this will be helpful A level on the bed of my box shows right now it’s level but I’m only mayb e 1.5” off the bump stops so I know its sagged in somewhat
  2. So THIS happened today! Ford bed lighting kit

Might be helpful to know that in my 2021 truck there were three wires under the right rear door that were white with a green stripe. Two of them the stripe twisted around them wire, and on the other one it was straight along the wire, if that makes sense. That was the wire that seems to be...
  3. Stock Ride height to the chassis rail at the rear wheels

I looked on-line and through the forums but it could be my search foo has failed me. I'm trying to find out what the stock ride height is for a crew cab 4 wheel drive (Lariat if that matters) from the ground to the chassis rail at the rear wheel. With the service body on my rig I'm starting with...
  4. Custom service body

Ah yes I found mits alloy which is similar. These are not sufficient dimensions inside for my purposes so indeed I found and dismissed all of them before going down this path. As for OME I addressed the issue there earlier in this thread
  5. Custom service body

    What is PCOR?
  6. Custom service body

Will check that out, predominantly the box is they think around 200lbs more than the bed was (Unfortunately didn't weigh before and after, so going on the amount of metal and what the builder gave me for information) Four bikes will be between 120-150lbs more, with other gear, we really should...
  7. Custom service body

I have, I'm unclear if that would be sufficient for suspending the box or not. I don't quite understand what they do to help the situation. Currently I'm about an inch or so from hitting the bump stops which I assume looking at them have some compression before they actually stop the movement.
  8. Custom service body

In joke among my buddies, when discussing non-powered bikes we refer to them as Acoustic, or unplugged bikes... like acoustic vs electric guitar....
  9. Custom service body

The reason I had ruled out OME is I didn't see an option which wasn't going to increase ride height over stock, and in fact saw several comments that this was NOT an option, I'm hoping to have it more or less stock ride height both for fitting in the garage, and ease of lifting bikes into the...
  10. Custom service body

This inside is pretty basic, it's going to hold bicycles and gear, I still have to do the interior build out for the parts, there's also a water tank under the box so I can hose things down. Right now trying to figure out if the Icon leaf pack or the Deaver would be a better fit for this rig...
  11. Custom service body

Ah, confused by your avatar icon :). The vehicle was not built for my job but built for our hobbies.
  12. Custom service body

Sorry I'm not sure I understand the question? A service body is what they call a custom box built on the back of a truck. I neither meant nor intended to imply I was in any branch of the armed services.
  13. Custom service body

I was unable to find exactly what I needed to fit my requirements in a vehicle which are admittedly quite specific to me. A lot of folks doing what I'm doing would build out sprinter chassis or promasters but we also RV camp so I wanted a vehicle that I could flat tow behind our RV which rules...
  14. Belltech's 2"/4" or 3"/6" drop kit?

So is there in fact a Belltech 2/4" rear drop kit, seems like 2" would go a long way to making the truck sit more level without giving up a hell of a lot of range or capability on the rear travel for dirt roads (like forest service). I'm replacing my bed with a Service body and want it to sit a...
  15. Curt wireless brake controller

I have one, used it once, and it worked great for the brakes, but at some point the trailer started swaying when I looked down to hit the button on the phone I Realised the app was gone because a phone call had come in. I now was a solo driver in a truck with a slightly swaying trailer trying to...
  16. Easiest to install Trailer Brake Controller?

So thanks to help from other threads on this forum I did the Ford install myself, it took about 4 hours start to finish, and that included pulling the panel to mount it in the 12v power outlet plug in front of the shifter instead of drilling for it. I pulled the headliner for the CHMSL which was...
  17. 8492 - 2019 Ranger - Trailer Brake Controller Availability

@TechnicallyReal that video was awesome gave me the confidence I needed to do it and last night I finished it up, was actually super easy. One question for you though, after you put the headliner back up is there some float to it, I can't tell if I got the pieces popped back in that "popped"...
  18. 8492 - 2019 Ranger - Trailer Brake Controller Availability

Ah yes, thank you, the reason I didn't find it is that doesn't come up in any search for trailer brakes, since that was to strobe the light not tap into it, but it helps.
  19. 8492 - 2019 Ranger - Trailer Brake Controller Availability

fantastic thank you! I'll give that a shot!
  20. 8492 - 2019 Ranger - Trailer Brake Controller Availability

That thread contains links to the information and ends with someone querying why everyone is pulling headliners when a work around has been presented, but from what I can see doesn't show the workaround having been done. I'm eagerly awaiting your video!
