Can anyone confirm that there is a "break in" tune for the first 1000 miles? It seems pretty remarkable that there are such vast improvements. Or do we attribute it to new engine, summer gas, etc.? Would be neat to know if Ford does in fact put that in there on new vehicles.
Has anyone ran into an issue with the threads? The ones that came with the GFB DV are fine vs the coarse factory. Am I missing something extremely easy??
Not too bad, pretty straight forward. There were a couple of additional steps that were required for the Ranger. Installing rail stops and a seal on the bulkhead, and installing shims between the box rail and rail protector.
Just installed this new folding cover. So far, so good. I think the quality is as good or better than the Bakflip that I had on my F350. Panels are thin and it sets LOW. It also appears that it will seal well!
