Just looked up Vland and yeah that's for the Australian version. Given that the pic for the Akkons has them on a Ranger with the NA bumper I think that aspect is at least fine.
I will probably end up trying to email Akkon directly about their warranty when I get closer to actually ordering something. I like the look of the Morimotos as well but they're just way outside my budget right now.
Does anyone have any experience with Akkon as a headlight brand? I'm doing some research on what I want to replace the factory XLT lights with. I know Alpharex is the preferred staple on here, but I really like the look of these but I dont know about reliability...
FINALLY got done with a project I've been working on since March. Custom hand made chase rack composed almost entirely out of scrap steel I scavenged at work. Very low cost for what it is, aftermarket third brake light fully wired in, and it's got a trick up its sleeve ?
So I've got a project I've been working on for a while and I'm about ready to get everything finally together and on my Ranger, but I need to know where would be a good place or fuse to tap into to get power to a relay only when I turn the key to the "on" position? Without using the fuse that I...
A week late, but my wife and I went to West Virginia for our anniversary. Saw the mountains, chilled by the river, and got first mud on the Tremor. Got some huge compliments on her too!
As for today specifically, while sitting in the drive through line at Taco Bell, a car parked in the...
For right now I'm using the clamps to hold it to the sides of the bed rails. I should be test fitting it to my S10 tomorrow so I can get pics for you then. Some years down the road when I upgrade to a retracting tonneau cover then I'll modify it to be drilled and bolted directly to the rails.
I'm actually in the process of making a chase rack myself. I'm just using some tool box clamps running through my fab. You can get a set of 4 on Amazon for about $12...
I took some inspiration from Go Rhino's Sport Bar 2.0. They use a linear actuator to rotate a flat plate into position. I'm also using a linear actuator to push straight up on the lid. There's a set of brackets loosely holding the light bar to the lid so it can pivot as it gets lifted, and...
Got my raptor lights installed. Hard mounted to a custom mount behind the grille and anchored to factory bolt points. Matches perfectly with the sidemarkers I installed earlier this year. ?
I did see that one, but I figured working in a fabrication shop I could make the mount myself and get the lights for much cheaper. Plus, after seeing the new F150 Raptor R revealed, I decided I liked the rectangular lights much better.
Name's Stephan from Ohio. Custom ordered my Tremor last November and picked her up in January. So far I've added the red lettering front and back, swapped out the side markers for smoked LEDs, and tied some RGB interior lighting to the auxiliary 3 switch. Currently working on building a custom...
