Got my CTCK 40-206 MXS charger yesterday, and installed the cables to the battery. I just need see if the company offers an extension cord less than 8'. Then I can try to figure how to mount the Port to plug it into the front of the truck with out having to open the hood up to plug in the...
I've been on the road on and off since last week, and put on almost 1,000 miles. Best riding truck I've had, and our car been pretty much parked for long trips so far since I got mine last Aug.
Cool. I am more on the Amtrak Passenger fan. Logged about 48,000 miles with Amtrak.. I've been on a couple of coal trains, and 261 is the one in St. Paul.
I use the Auto Start/Stop, and I have not yet seen any issued with the cabin comfort. It will start up again if I am at the light for a bit, and the air flow starts to warm up a little bit.
Just over 7k miles, and Love it.. Yesterday, I just took a 120 miles back country drive, even after a long drive up to the North Shore, still fun to drive!
The dealer put a 2" on mine, and wasn't get much for reception on some of the station, I ended up getting a 4" and then I am getting good reception for mine.
My drive to work is 1.5 miles, so not much time to recharge the battery, and my Auto Start/Stop didn't run much last winter. And w/ Electric heat, yeah that keep the "Vehicle Charging" on often when I stopped.
I am thinking of getting this as my drive is short in the winter.
The wire that goes to the battery, were you able to put the connecter from this to charger somewhere easy to plug in at the end of the day with out opening the hood?
