As the title says - looking for the Ford branded splash guards / mud flaps, front and rear for my 2020
Cheapest I can find is $100 or so shipped so if you know a cheaper source I'm up for that suggestion.
Thanks for looking
I know we can do a million things with FORSCan (I have)
Has anyone discovered a way to suppress the A.S.S. message that pops up on the IPC when you press the button?
Not looking for advice on how to disable A.S.S.
I would've paid for that plus shipping last month.
I will say that in my professional opinion, the grill mounted sensor must let the modules work/see better since it's a foot or more higher up.
With my old car, it would punch the throttle to speed up once the slower car in front of me...
It's, "That'll do pig, that'll do."
Yeah, after I looked the auto module up, I figured I could hide a "seasonal" switch under the drop down knee bolster.
Cool!
I wonder if there's a way to add a clean switch to disable it as well? The snow/ice build up here in the winter might not play nicely with the mirrors.
So frustrating and disappointing...
We figured out how to add ACC including finding missing CAN wires all over the truck, adding non-existent cruise control module and brackets and we can't do this one little thing.
Weird that we can enable ACC in the ABS module but not T/C - their functions...
Finally got a chance to take a real ride today - agreed, ACC is awesome.
I didn't see me having much time to make the how-to in the immediate future so thanks for posting the PPT.
So I don't remember if I replied but I tested the speed that it goes down to and it was around 12MPH when it dinged and showed in yellow/orange that cruise had cancelled.
Tested:
IPC 720-01-02 changing the second set of numbers 5XXX from the 5 to 9XXX enables the truck icon with the collision alert distance. If it's at 5, the option to display distance is gone.
Change to 9 and when enabled in the Driver Assist menu, the little 1/2 truck icon pops up and it shows...
I live in a pretty small town so I rarely have the cross traffic alert. I'll check tomorrow.
I did notice that as I was backing into the driveway, I thought for sure that my warnings should have been yelling at me that I was too close to my wife's vehicle.
I also have a wireless Android Auto unit and the wireless charging tray that DirkM makes/sells.
Having both is pretty awesome.
If I can get the APIM cheap enough, it's going in.
@Gazmic the scenarios you're describing I would bet are the exact reason that Ford allows you to choose between the...
I used to have a Beetle Turbo S that put down 300 to the wheels.
It was nuts!
I always wanted a TT. At that time in our lives, we had kids, so we needed the back seat as a people mover, so no TT for us.
I refuse to accept help for my car modding addiction - I don't have a problem, I can stop at...
I will probably NEVER use TC but if we can figure out how to make it work I will pretty much have a Lariat FX4
(I already have an e-locker)
Going to talk to my friend at the parts yard and see about an APIM.
I like Google maps, but I'm now addicted to adding the options.
Adaptive working now with the correct IPC display of following distance?
I have the crash distance thingy on right now, but I'm guessing the new toy thrill will wear off and I'll return to the full truck icon.
