I actually like that it's not that easy to have the phone in front of you... w/android auto and apple car play you get pretty good functionality... I avoid those too as it's helped me keep from texting. I can hear a text w/built in software and if it's really that important, I can go old...
Yeah, a friend of mine just got an MKC... those cooled seats are sweet.. a little strange feeling at first since I've never experienced them before... some cars have ventilated seats but these are cooled...
Definitely some room for improvement at the trim levels... maybe give the non-lariat...
Yeah, you just barely get one end loose then take a small thin screwdriver and just wedge the other clip a little and it will come out...getting one clip all the way out seems like the correct way but it doesnt free up the other end that way.
True, I never made the connection that this started the day after I put the flashlight there.. .and the buzz still came from the upper panel but maybe it just deformed the panel enough to cause that in another section... lol.. so much for common sense.
Okay, confession time...
1 - had the door panel buzz w/bass ...Didn't notice it until recently
2 - Bought a trim removal kit - which will come in handy again
3 - finally seen the pics that got me to taking off the door panel, broke some internal plastic and jbweld to the rescue
4 - used the felt...
The only problem is that hole for the puddle lights isn't simply a hole, it has a lip to it where the lights snap into... maybe it won't matter... I'd take a similar piece of plastic and cut the hole then see how flush the puddle lights fit or what you might have to do to make it work.
Sorry to be dense but I dont see how to do it. I don't have anything that can pop off what I think you're referring to without destroying it...are there any parts diagrams somewhere?
The truck did it's job.. crumple zones worked and so did the air bags... someone on a jeep site a few years ago bragged about hitting an F-150 head-on, at corner, at slow to medium speed and had a scratch on his bumper but the F-150 front end / fenders were all pushed in... He was bragging...
