So glad you guys are OK. Amazing that the truck stayed upright.
My 2019 was totalled by a wrong way driver, but as far as protecting me did quite well. Made my decision easy as to what I should drive next.....another Ranger.
Very cool, that must have been fun!
I was there about 10 years ago here's one of my photos.
Funny Story about that trip, following my GPS it bought us in at the top of the dragon. My buddy was driving my 2011 F-150 crew cab towing a heavy 16' trailer loaded with 3 motorcycles, tools and...
110 in the Ranger and several F-150:s (all tuned).
160+ many times on my bikes ("cruisers", with no fairings). Several official documented runs over 165 mph at this land speed event.
Actually went 170 on the same bike in better conditions.

I'm not recommending it but I've seen 0 miles to empty at least a dozen times in my last 4 Ford pickups.
This is mostly because I live close to the border of two States and will often delay filling until I've crossed over, taking advantage of the lower prices. In addition I drive approximately...
Congrats and best of luck with the F-150.
I did the opposite and traded an F-150 STX for a 2019 Ranger. The STX was an awesome truck. Loved that package, it always felt "just right".
Not sure about that, it's tow rating is higher than the Maverick.
It's early reviews have been pretty positive.
It's not deserving of any dealer markup however....they'll be plenty of them around eventually. If they are not priced right they won't sell, and prices will adjust.
Auto market is screwy right now......but full size pickups are historically heavily discounted. Not saying they aren't expensive but a 10k or more mark down from list is/was not unusual. (except on a Raptor)
Red truck is mine. That was the result of a wrong way driver that hit me pretty square, I was traveling at 60 mph.
I think it shows the crash bars made a difference for sure, I had no injuries to my legs/feet from intrusion into the cab. The other driver, albeit in a smaller vehicle was not so...
5 Star has been terrific for me. I've used their tunes on 3 turbo F-150's and 2 Rangers. I find customer service to be excellent. Their pricing is also very good.
My experience with tuning Ford trucks goes back to 2011. Livernois has a good reputation, the only complaints I ever heard about them...
