I used to lay on the cold ground and save the oil until the 5 gallon bucket was overflowing before I took it to a recycling center.

My 2013 F-150 was the first year for the 3.5L twin turbo.
After every fill up I floor it at around 30mph and "blow it out". Most of the time I would see a pretty decent cloud of black smoke.
Do not see the same with this engine but I still "blow it out". Probably more then every tank full.
