When I started driving around 1977 the big thing was jacking up the rear of your car and putting on wide tires. I had a buddy with a GTO that was consistantly replacing his pinion gear.
Looks like I don't need to jack up the Ranger, just need to add the big tires
My F-150 Screw Ecobeast was like sitting in a big recliner.
One of the main reasons I purchased a Ranger was the comfort of the seat and I test drove a GMC, Chevy, Tacoma and Ridgeline. GMC was like sitting on a rock. Ridgeline was a close second for comfort.
Only time I turn it off is in the heat of the summer. No engine running = no AC.
I have a hybrid Sonata I used to use to commute to work in a lot of stop and go traffic. Talk about awsome mpg. Weird to fill up the small tank and see 550 miles to empty. The electric kicks in even at 60+ mph...
I like the factory navigation, just wish they would keep it more up to date. Even after the update it is still a little behind.
Much better than Goggle Maps or Waze in my opinion. Easy to read and a lot of info on the screen.
Have a Samsung A50.
When using Android Auto I can start Pandora without touching the phone.
When I use Sync, I need to make sure Pandora is running already and sometimes have to mess with the phone to get it going. Sometimes I see the Pandora icon, sometimes I don't. Even when I do see it it...
When I was shopping for my truck I looked at and drove the Tacoma. Found the Ranger to be much more refined.
What did impress with the Tacoma's was the stack of frames behind one of the dealers waiting to be installed. They certainly did the right thing with their customers.
Took a trip from NJ to NC this past weekend. I averaged a little over 25 mpg and most of my driving was at 70 mph using the adaptive cruise control.
Does Virginia use winter fuel?
I have never seen 25 mpg in my truck before. I currently have around 23,000 miles on it.
I have nothing to hide........well maybe some stuff.
I work in IT Networking and Cybersecurity.
If you are on a laptop or phone your information can't be hidden. You don't want to be tracked you will need to learn to enjoy life with none of these devices.
My 2019 used to show this rough shifting, bucking at low speed after cold start to the point where I was going to request the TSB at my next oil change. For some reason it doesn't seem to be happening any more
Ford doesn't build a decent product, they build an awsome product. I have...
I usually wait until my truck is at 25% which is normally every spring. I have done this with all my Ford vehicles 2007 & 2015 Mustang GT's, 2013 Ford F-150 Ecobeast Screw, and now my 2019 Ranger. Never an oil issue with any of them. All done by the dealer.
