  1. 2019 Ford Ranger Lariat - New Battery Experience

I am a Quality Engineer in the electronics industry so I always look at electrical issues with an open eye. At least let’s test it before jumping to any conclusions. That is something I would have engineered into our BMS system, if the battery is starting to go bad or a cell is bad have the...
  2. 2019 Ford Ranger Lariat - New Battery Experience

Good to know someone else had the same symptom. When they started throwing around the new alternator word I was like hold up guys, let’s not get ahead of ourselves. ?
  3. 2019 Ford Ranger Lariat - New Battery Experience

EDIT: Resetting your automatic window is actually easy.. Hold the button all the way down until your window is all the way down for a few seconds, release, hold button down again for several seconds and release. Hold the button all the way up until your window is all the way up for a few...

New Battery, almost 5 years out of the OEM so fine by me. ???
  5. 2019 Ford Ranger Lariat - New Battery Experience

The recent ice/cold in North Alabama finally took its toll on my battery and I ended up replacing it tonight at the dealership. Monday morning when I sat in my truck I noticed my nav screen displaying a "System Off to Save Battery, Please turn ignition off or start engine" message. I have never...

Got a new pair of shoes…265/70r18 BFG Trail Terrain T/A during Sam’s Black Friday. ?
  7. What did you do to your Ranger today?

And here I am using a $300 Adam’s Air Cannon just to dry my truck. ? I’d hate to know my total detailing set-up cost. ? I even use a Deionizer.
  8. What did you do to your Ranger today?

☑️ Washed with Adam’s Strip Wash ☑️ Adam’s Iron Remover ☑️ Adam’s Clay Mitt ☑️ Adam’s Advanced Graphene Spray Coating Polish job from a year and a half ago is still holding up nicely. ?? Happy Memorial Day! ??
  9. Want new rear shocks FX 4

I am thinking about these for my 2019 RWD when I get around to replacing them. Is the part number Bilstein 24-294195 Rear B6 4600?
  10. 265/70r18 Tires on my 2019 Ranger Lariat Questions

Why’s that? They have a 2049 Date Code (2 1/2 years old) and still have 6/32” tread left.
  11. 2019 2WD Rear Differential Fluid Change Write-Up (~47K Miles)

I have not got around to installing my heated tailgate yet, so I have to stay on top of maintenance. ? Ranger has to compete with the Taco!
  12. 2019 2WD Rear Differential Fluid Change Write-Up (~47K Miles)

Yes! I am pretty sure the e-locker would fall under the locker fill specs; I do not have a locker, so mine holds a tad bit more fluid. I don’t see why it would not work, I picked up my oil pan on Amazon (Groz 41961) and it was a breeze. It has a spout and it’s a controlled flow, so I was able...
  13. 265/70r18 Tires on my 2019 Ranger Lariat Questions

I still hit an average of 23.5mpg doing mostly highway. So far no issues running this size on my Ranger. I occasionally will scrub on the driver crash bar if I take a super sharp turn, but that is it. I took @Discount Tire advice when I initially started this thread and have been running 35 psi.
  14. 2019 2WD Rear Differential Fluid Change Write-Up (~47K Miles)

I did actually get mine done at the local dealer for $140 the other weekend. 47,000 miles/3years11months since truck has been built. It’s the one fluid I do not want to fail. ?
  15. 2019 2WD Rear Differential Fluid Change Write-Up (~47K Miles)

Yep. I do believe reading other forums 21+? had it deleted. Kind of like there’s no brake fluid change interval in our owners manual but there is in later models..?
  16. 2019 2WD Rear Differential Fluid Change Write-Up (~47K Miles)

That’s going to be my interval as long as I own the truck..4 years or 50k miles. If you purchase the plugs off Ford, since the Fill plug comes in a three pack just grab an extra Drain plug since they’re $2 and you are all set for the next change.
  17. 2019 2WD Rear Differential Fluid Change Write-Up (~47K Miles)

A.K.A the “lifetime” of that axle if it makes it that far. ?
  18. Axle nut removal

Agreed. Not much the twins can not handle.
  19. 2019 2WD Rear Differential Fluid Change Write-Up (~47K Miles)

My interval will probably be around there as well. As you can see it is a pretty easy job, and the total cost was around $50. Tried to get ahold of my local dealer earlier to see how much I saved but they must have been busy. I will take a $50 fluid change over potentially $500 gears for peace...
