72 and have two NAPA filters and Amsoil sitting around. Repair/Stealerships either won't use your stuff and/or charge you kinda what they would for a regular change. Also like Signature Series oil. So it looks like in another month Il'll be changing the oil and rotating the tires: one of the...
Once I was following a truck that had a tire on rim in its bed. It hit another vehicle and the tire bounced up then out and again right in front of my car. Fortunately it just ricocheted off to one side. That used up one of my lives.
I've had a few Ranger's over the years and evolved from: no liner, a bed mat, a liner, now on my newest sprayed in. I removed the mat or liner every 6 months to wash and wax the bed area. Over time the mat and liner rubbed through the paint. If I didn't have the money I'd prefer the mat (for...
When I need the bed for gear I use this roof level pivotable T-bar (great part), hitch extender (so the gate can be fully dropped) and the stubby antenna (so I don't have to be concerned about hitting the tall OEM antenna). The slings are good for centering the kayak. I've had other rack mounted...
After checking out a number of You Tube videos and articles I started using NAPA (Wix) Platinum Oil Filters. I don't know the current price, but they periodically go on sale for a significant discount.
Had the 5100's installed today. Front set at 1.2". $300 to install. Ordered 1st week in August 2021 and received completed shipment last week. Without a doubt the best thing I got for this truck. Saddened to wait this long, but well worth it. Now I don't have to feel like I'm wobbling around in...
I have a cap , roof rack, and stubby antenna on my truck. When I go kayaking I put the boat on the rack. Without the stubby the boat would have hit the antenna.
Just received and installed the Gorilla recommended 41137BCB black lug nuts. Please excuse the chicken scratch sketch included. Also, there's no shoulder on the Gorilla nuts..
Sent an email to Gorilla for black lug nuts. They recommend 41138BC (bulk, sold individually) or 41137BCB (4 pack). Landed up buying (6) 4 packs for ~$83 including shipping and St tax
Just purchased their 84658 installation set (~$79 w/o tax). It includes black 4X (5) 1.5L 60 Deg cone lock nuts + (1) lock nut. Calculating the across points dim for the .81 (13/16") across flats dim is .94. Hopefully without any other issue that's larger than the .91 dim shown in 'Jacksmydog"...
Maybe use Dental Floss between the body and the emblem. Although a little warming up with a Heat Gun will help. I think I also used a Credit Card. You can pretty much pull it off with your hand once the adhesive is separated. BTW, Plastic removal tools are cheap and you'll find other uses for them.
Thank you guys. $1.78 at Lowes for 1/2" Dia X 36" poplar dowel cut to (2) 1 7/8" long. ~20 min for install. Have a cap on the truck with limited rear view area. Will take any additional open area in my mirror
Installed the power outlet yesterday. Now I can back the truck up to the kayak launch area, pull the inflatable out and fill it from the bed with my electric pump. The screws were on back order and expensive, so a quick trip to my local hardware store got me the (4) M5x20 screws for a fraction...
