You'd be surprised how many different shades of white there are. Unless you get lucky you'll likely notice a difference. Like others have said, I would buy Oxford White premixed in cans. I've ordered and used OEM color matched spray paint from this website before...
The crazy rebates available at that time on the XLTs was what made me pull the trigger a month or two before I was initially looking to buy. Also made me get an XLT over the Lariat because the price difference would have been $10K more for a Lariat. I was happy to save that money and immediately...
I weighed mine in comparison to my stock 18" wheels before I installed the Raptor wheels. Unfortunately I didn't write the exact weight down, but if my memory serves me correctly I want to say the Raptor wheels were 28.6 lbs each. I remember comparing weight at the time and they were little...
Great looking build! Random question for you... what's the height measurement on that side stripe Ranger decal? Looks about 4 inches? I may repurpose it somewhere else.
I have the Raptor wheels and an XLT with Magnetic Sport Trim. The most noticeable difference is that Dyno Grey on the Raptor wheels is a Satin finish, while Magnetic is a gloss finish. The colors are similar, but Dyno Grey is more of a Charcoal Black, while Magnetic is more of a dark metallic grey.
Pretty sure I read somewhere they are 265/70/17. The wheels are the Raptor wheels, but painted Magnetic. The Raptor wheels are more of a satin grayish black called "Dyno Grey", which is the trim color on the Ranger Raptors. The Raptor wheels also have center caps that spell out "FORD", while the...
Cap looks great! For almost $4k you would think they would have the fitment a little better sorted. It does look a little too tall relative to the cab roofline. It would probably look great with a Prinsu rack on the cab to even things out a little.
Do you know of any customers that have had theirs delivered yet? I’m interested to see some non-promotional pics and hear impressions on fitment. The Tacoma guys’ main complaint seems to be fitment, with the cap not coming back far enough.
The biggest incentives I've seen since the Ranger was introduced was around $6000 in rebates on the XLTs in November last year. Dealers were giving around a $4K discount on top of that for about $10K off MSRP. It's what convinced me to get a XLT instead of a Lariat. Supply is constrained, so I...
The Raptor Wheels are indeed “Dyno Gray”, which is the color used on all the trim and badges for the actual Raptor. The new Tremor package comes with the same wheels but painted in Magnetic. Dyno Gray is a bit darker than Magnetic and has a Matte/Satin finish versus the Magnetic gloss. They look...
Sorry these are the Air Design/Ford ones! I’ll correct my post. I was originally going to go with RTR but came across some prepainted Ford vents on eBay. The vent mesh felt cheap so I decided to swap it with higher quality sheet metal.
Looks awesome. I’ve thought about doing something similar but painting the mirror caps and handles in Magnetic to match the rest of the Sport trim similar to the Ranger Raptor look. The Raptor uses “Dyno Grey” for the trim pieces instead of Magnetic.
I’m running the Raptor wheels with 265/70-17 Wildpeaks and there is around 5/8” to 3/4” clearance between the tire and knuckle. (just eyeballing it)
