Not for one failure. There is a trade off in the time investment. For the 'common' failure of the CDF drum, they did investigate, and there was a redesign in late 2022.
I am a slushbox hater and really didn't want to get an automatic transmission, but I also didn't want to buy a tacoma. I had...

This guy did.
I don't really think there are a lot of people with over 100k on a Ranger, period. Not because the trucks are dying, but because most people don't drive that much.
i had picked up a 2023 Maverick in early April and when I traded it for my Ranger in July it had 8k miles. Not quite to 10k but it was way more driving than I normally do, I made many 800 mile round trips to visit an ill family member and they added up quick. The driving is much less now, I...
Part of that is a response to the (small number of) scumbag customers who try to get warranty coverage when they caused the issue. I have seen many threads on various forums where people are trying to hide their prior mods when they clearly caused damage. The dealer shouldn't really care --...
I would expect the truck to not operate at all if the PCM were 'fried'. I suspect airline tech is on to something -- there is something wrong with a specific part of your harness, a connector, or a related circuit that is causing the PCM to complain.
You should be mad at the automakers, not the striking workers. You should also be mad at any state that is not right to work, since there would be plenty of workers willing to work without being in the union if they could, but they can't.
I don't drive terribly conservatively and I get about 20 mpg if it is all city, 21mpg if it is mostly city, and 24mpg if it is all highway. On a recent roadtrip where it was 950 miles of highway and about 85 miles of city driving, I averaged 23.4. I would say 750 of the highway miles were at...
You could cover it with a vinyl decal, which is not a real fix but it's a cheap one. If it is the hood you could wrap the whole thing in a carbon fiber looking wrap. Or add a hood scoop if it is in the right spot.
I don't mean to question your authority on these matters, but it is my understanding the 2.3 ecoboost w/ 10r80 was not offered until 2019. So the powertrain combo was not proven in the rest of the world on the Ranger platform.
How many miles? Like I said, I paid $42k+tax for a used Lariat Tremor with 8k miles. Lariat probably adds $3k to $4k, and Tremor adds $2k over FX4. I think $39k for a used XLT FX4 is probably high.
I picked up a used 2022 Lariat Tremor with 8k miles for ~$42k plus tax in July. I would think you could find a Lariat without Tremor package for $40k or less.
Question for Ganger, does the Ford ESP cover powertrain components if you have the Ford Performance Tune? I suspect there is a grey area of, "if the tune caused the failure." In that case, have you heard of anyone being denied warranty coverage because the Ford Performance Tune is thought to...
I saw your most recent update, but wanted to touch on this. If the rear calipers have failed, that failed part caused the excessive wear on the pads and rotors. It should be fully covered by warranty.
You have to scroll through the images. It started on image 5 for me. The story is told through the image captions.
Sometimes I wonder if I am the only one who misses simple text pages that did not require multiple clicks to get a simple story.
I got an organizer for my armrest.

The drivers side spring is oriented in a way that it appears to be holding the parking brake rather than forcing it to release. It is probably sketchy, but can you rotate it clockwise (as seen in the photo)? If the spring is possible not even doing anything, can you push forward at the top...
