I learned that this “modern” engine had an EGR after the purchase. Pretty disappointing.
The rear sliding window is another one if the locking clip breaks.
I guess the only thing left to learn is that there is a rear mounted timing belt with an internal water pump. I can only hope. At least I...
So, air conditioner failed at 40,000 miles. Re set attempts failed and just attempted the blend door actuator motor replacement at ~41,000 miles without success.
Ford knows it has a problem: they designed, resourced, installed, and then identified the issue. Their hope is that owners encounter...
As Dapakattack, I’m an American who lives in Europe, specifically Germany.
I acknowledge you continue to discredit the comment I made by attacking me. What’s that called?
Regardless, as an American, I use and respect others’ Constitutional rights, in this case, specifically the 2nd Ammendment...
I acknowledge the right to self defense if life, limb, or eyesight is threatened.
What isn’t self defense is protecting your flat screen by killing some loser. In addition, the loser may have a weapon. Is a shoot out worth a TV?
Secure the things that matter to you, the lives of your family...
That’s how you guarantee that a jury will determine if you go to prison based on the skill of the lawyer you can afford.
The other way there is no question.
I’m a Texan too and under no circumstance do you “smoke” any loser just because they are a loser. None.
You should understand that if you shoot at someone they may shoot back and it may happen months later.
While I feel the loss of privacy is unacceptable you do not shoot someone for...
Yes, 2/3 of Ohio is less than foothills. You are reaching.
I don’t care where you live, you list Ohio.
I don’t care how you use your trucks.
Ford doesn’t give you enough rotor material to survive hard use.
I didn’t make any comment on pads because it’s a given that they would be replaced...

Awesome for you. 75,000 miles is probably just outside the serviceability window, on the high side, for F150 brakes.
Ohio is also mostly flat
Auto reviewers often comment that Ford brakes rarely ”break” new ground. When they make comments like this they are saying Ford provided the bare...
Many years ago, one of the car magazines (can’t remember which) did just what you are suggesting.
What was interesting to me was that, at that point, imports generally outperformed domestics in most things like braking (and often breaking). In this test they did ten or more repeated panic...
In the 90s I had a Tacoma and it performed fine. I rarely carried over 600lbs or went to the mountains so drums were okay.
Today, towing over 5000 lbs or carrying over 1000 lbs (in or near the mountains) I wouldn’t want anything to do with drums.
Just my opinion.
I’ve owned Fords almost exclusively for the last 20 years so I have a better understanding on how their products are put together than I should. Before we start, I am happy with the products at the prices I’ve paid.
Ford cheapskates out. They paint buttons that should be molded in color. They...
I’m being a little bit lazy as I have a tonneau cover that I don’t want to remove but still want to do some drilling. There is nothing flat or straight forward under the rail caps and, there are specific places to drill to get a secure mount point.
On the rail caps there are ridges and...
If you have the factory cargo rails there are universal mounts that fit those rails, then attach to whichever Yakima bars you have.
If you don’t have cargo rails they make something like the Q Tower that fits on top of your roof but hooks into the door jam/ top space.
Bottom line is that...
This question is for anyone who has experience with roof top style racks, mounting, loading.
I’m reusing older gear that I have by mounting four Yakima landing pads to the top of the bed walls and using two round bars. From what I recall, they were rated to carry a maximum of 165 lbs. This is...
