Still not sure that an illuminated "FORD" would be considered a light ?, it's really just a "grille emblem", I've seen plenty of those lit up , put it on a switch and just use it mall crawling , you want to do it and we want you to , you kinda have to now , If you get pulled over for being too...
Well , an "emblem" or the "FORD" in this case may not be considered an actual light ?, maybe it's just an "illuminated accessory " ? The jist of that law is so you don't look like law enforcement, an "illuminated emblem " (no light projection) might just slide by ?...it would look pretty damn...
If Ford simply put a "bad battery" ? ? message on the screen , most people would simply go buy a battery at Wherever auto parts , but if all the crazy ? stuff comes up on the screen , your gonna take it in to the dealer most likely, sneaky , but kinda smart too ...
Nothing cooler than that , not a big fan of the French , but the Art Deco that trickled over here in the cars and buildings is timeless, love that style...
