I wash my truck every two to three weeks to get the road grime off and protect the exterior. About every three months I will give it a good coat of wax. I also wax the exterior black plastics as I feel they look better then just washing and drying. I have husky liners to protect the carpets but...
I love to get out and get my truck dirty. Making memories with my family and just using my Ranger as a truck is the whole reason I bought it, but keeping it clean is just as enjoyable to me. I love getting the sideways glances from the Wranglers and Tacos on the beach or trail as well as the...
I drive them until I have to change tires, then I up grade. But thats just me. It also gives me some time to save money for the new tires/wheels.
I'm slow to get the Ranger of my dreams this way, but can't justify not using what I have to my wife.
Wish I didn't delete the picture, but while evacuating from Hurricane Laura to Albuquerque I got up to 26.7 mpg. On the way home pulling a trailer with generators and supplies it dropped down to 16mpg.
Thank you. I have actually seen the RTR grille and like it but don't like the lights. Just my preference. I love the two bars on the lariat grille but not the blue oval center stage. Thank you again.
I am wanting to get my hands on a grille insert much like the Ranger Latiat's bar style grille but without the Ford oval. Does anyone know where I might be able to find one?
I am looking into getting a CAI on my ranger, specifically the ROUSH. But I was curious about some things before I take the plunge.
1. What is the real difference between the factory and AM filter? The location doesn't change so what benefits does the conical filter and new flow tube have...
The easiest way is of get you a body tool, if you look around the emblem you'll see a notch. Easily pry the emblem up and be careful not to break the tabs. Once you get that off th there are two screws that'll take the camera housing off. Then just uncouple the camera and your good to go.
I just got the Yakima Overhaul HD rack. I like the sturdiness of it when it's on the truck. Only carrying two 64lbs. kayaks on it but intend to use it in other applications. I wasn't too get the rotopax side bars also to clear up some bed space.
I know this probably doesn't help at all with your canoe and rack dilemma but after doing a bunch of internet searching I ended up with a Yakima system. The Yakima Overhaul HD rack and two kayak holders. It was indeed pricey but hopefully we can get many years of use and abuse out of it.
My...
Thank you. I actually took the whole assembly of the tailgate, broke it down into individual components and then sanded, painted, clear coated it. Put it back together with epoxy from my work.
I can't give you much feed back personally but I am also in the market for a bed rack and was looking into the Thule and Yakima racks. I have two 12' kayaks and looking to carry them, my gear, and the family.
Thanks for sharing the link. I will do some research and will post anything I find out.
Took some time this weekend and color matched my tailgate emblem to the truck. I was wondering if anyone else has done this and was looking for some pictures. Metallic gray and bronze before and after.
Thank you for approving me into the forums. A long time Ranger lover that has been driving other things since I sold my '94 ranger in 2009. Finally got back into the glory of a Ranger this past weekend. I purchased a 2019 XLT FX4 preowned. Only 9k on it for a steal of a price. Would have loved...
