If I'm not mistaken the m190 is basically an IFS Dana 30. I've done plenty of wheeling with a Dana 30. Locking one seems like a good way to break stuff.
I was thinking just the opposite.
TIG welded aluminum fuel cell in my hotrod just popped a 10" crack on the weld. Replacement is poly to avoid this in the future.
Never had a need for gap insurance.
Full replacement value seems interesting. But not sure I understand the difference. Book value is just fine by me as I'm always very much right side up.
Seems like another way to suck you dry on premiums to me.
True. But judging by his post that's not what he's thinking.
Also, weird stuff like a flat black hood wrap to hide your hail damage is gonna be pretty hard to find the "right" person for.
Just sayin'.
If you've had them for decades you should certainly shop around. Insurance companies give you no benefit for longevity. In fact quite the opposite.
They're all scammers, might as well pay as little premium as possible. Of course I probably wouldn't go low their, but I've had great success...
Just played with mine. 1 minutes seems correct.
That being said, I still find the factory alarm to be next to useless. If I wanted to protect my truck the "plus" add on would be in order.
My sticker says the same thing. Still doesn't do shit, and never has.
Have you tested your "alarm" ever? Or did you just ASSume it does something? I've tested mine, and as others on the forum have found, it's useless without the add on.
It's been determined by folks here that the factory "alarm" really doesn't do anything and that if you want coverage the perimeter plus add on is needed.
Op needs to buy the optional perimeter plus alarm to get what he wants I believe.

"As far as I know"
There is the shock sensing add on that many people have installed which is what I believe he is talking about.
Regardless, it is not the same thing as the keypad.
