Got mine last week installed it today. Works like a charm. Necessary? No but a cool addition. Weight of the tailgate be damned I think Ford should have had this as a standard feature.
Can't believe how far south this thread turned. My opinion is Ford cut corners on this truck to get it to market when they didn't have to. I ordered the damper will install when it arrives. Don't need or want the damper that's cool. Lot of us obviously do so no harm no foul.
Anyone out there in Ranger land tried to install a folding ladder on their 2019 Ranger tailgate. Not sure about this since there are wires and such in the tailgate. Thought about this https://www.carid.com/traxion/tailgate-truck-ladder-mpn-5-100.html?singleid=408967497 or this one...

Wow yours fit a whole lot better than mine do in the rear. Mine seem like they are warped and haven't laid down all the way. The passenger side fits pretty well but the driver side catches the door and wants to curl up. I did manage to push it down a bit...
I have the weather tech front and back and I have to say I am not all that impressed. After all the favorable press and their big adverts in the car mags I thought ok I spent 40 large on a new truck what's a couple hundred more. The back tray which is one piece fits pretty good on the passenger...
Right I hate the General Motors trucks for that reason. Not to mention this truck has a butt ugly front end. The complete GM truck line up has that clunky crappy looking front end.
The whole debate or complaint about the Ranger being a 4 cylinder is a moot point to me. The torque and horsepower ratings are up there with and actually surpass most of the 6 cylinder midsize trucks out there. If I need the power it is there. Mash the pedal getting on the freeway no problem...
Stopped in to my dealer yesterday and finally they had some Ranger hats in stock. Of course I bought a red one. Closest I could find to my Chili pepper red truck.
I have the Weathertech front and back. I was surprised at thin they are and the fit is not as spot on as their advertising says they are. Not enough for me to bad mouth them as they work great and are a better option than the factory carpet mats but again
On the bed of the truck itself? Those things are made on a stamping die so unless they changed it after the initial production run I don't see how that happens, The adapter piece has two slots but not the actual truck bed.
