This thread makes me wonder... does it apply to the SuperCrew only?
I have certainly seen no such issue with the SuperCab.
Looking back, it seems that most issues seem to apply only to the 4WD and/or SuperCrew models.
That would explain the flawless history of my 2WD SuperCab.
On the other...
On my Datsun PL620, I simply unscrewed the front bolts and placed appropriate sized nuts between the rail of the seat frame and the floor, then reinstalled the bolts ... Cost??... It made a clean spot on my workbench where the nuts used to be.
Least reliable new vehicle I have ever owned (or seen)
I can see that we won't agree on the terms or the facts of this question, so I will just continue to respectfully disagree with your assessment .
Mine does not engine brake in Drive, without Tow Haul engaged.
Downshifting adds a tangent and thus irrelevent assertion to the discussion.
While I...
Not my experience,....(perhaps it is just too subtle, or a matter defining terms)
There is no engine braking in drive unless it is in "tow haul".
Even coming down Monteagle, to attain engine braking you must shift into sport mode or Tow haul mode.
The owners manual only addresses the issue...
This one is a Scamp13 Deluxe... all oak interior with Bathroom ,shower, surround sound, basically everything the house has... Just under 2000 pounds as equipped and ready to leave the driveway..
I can't say whether it is "better" but my 2019 2WD SuperCab has proven Flawless in every measurable way for what is now more than 3-1/2 years. I tow with it at least half the miles so far with excellent mileage and performance.
Avoiding a deer strike is about as likely as avoiding hitting a bug with your windshield.
My 2001 Ranger was just 27 days old when I hit a deer with it.
Sad for you, but just know it was no fault of yours.
I don't borrow a car from a car company
I don't rent or lease a car from a car company
I BUY a car from a car company!
Once I write the check it is MINE!
I own it, They don't.
If they make it impossible for me to have features permanently active or make it unreasonable or exclusive to get it...
1] I received the same recall.
I even saw the tech perform the recall and confirmed it OK.
I did not want my wiring harness opened up in the first place.
The work was done close to closing time and the service manager left early.
He refused to document the work and I refuse to have my harness...
When Airco or its ilk process bottled gasses, they do so to a purity standard and thus bottled gasses are devoid of moisture when delivered.
Ordinary air compressors simply compress ambient air and the process condenses water into the tank. mechanics don't normally carry around extensive air...
The whole Nitrogen myth started many years ago when some racecar drivers brought nitrogen cylinders to the track... Not because nitrogen is inherently more stable , but because air compressors condense a lot of water from the atmosphere and it ends up in the tires.
Water vapor does affect tire...
Of course there is another way... get a deer stamp every year and get all your neighbors to do so.
No deer ever jumped out of a freezer into the path of oncoming traffic! :giggle: ;)
I've had a set of deer whistles on the shelf in my shop for over 10years.
Not one deer has entered the shop or even come up the driveway.
They seem to work for the following as well...(anecdotally)
Luckily the Arc didn't have them!
If I remember correctly the 400 will physically interchange with the FL-1A as well.
As for switching the to the 400 from the 910s, we know that it will physically interchange as well.
The fact is that the filters have different application specs.
The question remains as to whether these...
My 2019 has been used extensively for towing, camping, hauling, etc.
One infinitesimal ding in the driver's door so far (3-1/2 years).
You really have to search to find it!
It sure as heck was billed as a silver bullet, which was my point. I don't know your age or occupation but I was in a refinery at the time and I have always followed politics, especially automotive politics.
I suppose this latest "silver bullet" (EV) will contribute to our transportation needs...
