I've seen these on a white F150 and they don't look too bad. The channel bend on the F150 wasn't perfect so they didn't lay completely flat but the gold lettering didn't clash.
Looking good, looks like most of the rain they called for earlier in the week vanished so you just may get to keep it nice for more than a few days .
Honest question... What's the value add for a dash cam? What do you get for spending $50 to $400 dollars on a camera to record your view? I've been thinking about pulling the trigger but just not sure what the full advantage is outside of covering yourself in case of an accident. Does insurance...
It's hideous whatever it is . Without reading the article I'd think it may be a way to get some mileage on the chassis before they have the final design on the body.
Mine only has 84K but I attribute it to lots of cold starts and short trips when I lived up north. Good news is I paid 18K for the truck ten years ago and haven't put more than the usual maintenance costs so I say I'm even no matter how much I get on my trade.
I have the infamous cam phaser rattle in my 5.4L, it's running fine but it's essentially a ticking time bomb that I don't want to sink money into so hopefully it holds for my April delivery... You may carry on with enjoying your new rides now
Decided once and for all to hold firm on my preorder. I'd miss the keypad too much and I'm not convinced the dealer add-on will work exactly the same. No more back and forth!
Before we get too far down this road can I make a request that we leave politics off this forum? I can go to any number of websites to get a window into the political world, I come here to talk trucks :like:
It's hard to tell from the pics, did you take the chrome surround (bezel) off on the rear and coat/wrap it? I'm thinking it would look great in magnetic gray with the black emblem but seems like a lot of work just for the surround.
