thanks man! yours looks excellent too, the fenders look awesome and i'm jealous of the topper. i honestly had your build bookmarked when I was researching what I wanted to do to my truck.
did you replace your rear leafs?
I wanted this exact setup! I ended up getting my KMC's - the 703's were sold out and then got the 285's instead of 265's LOL'
the wheel/tire combo looks awesome tho man! offset looks good too. ENjoy!
ironically this year I left 2.5' of snow in Neptune City and landed to around 6" in Breckenridge in February LOL. Shot out to see my buddy in leadville and they had about a foot... it was unreal.
This year was the first winter with the Wildpeaks and man they made a huge difference compared to...
I'm not sure if the light ever turns off once you select it but I think the manual said something about the 25mph thing. Shoulda said dont quote me LOL
Haven't gone that fast with the diff lock engaged honestly, so if it stays engaged then pops out i think that kinda makes sense. I feel like I...
you can get a non FX4 with the locker- I have it on my 4x4 Sport... not sure why everyone is saying otherwise.
Our truck i believe is one of the last ones with a switch for the locker. it'll even disengage automatically over 25mph. I know on my buddy's trd pro the rear locker can only be...
i was looking for pics of the XL's actually ON a truck for such a long time and saw your comment from another thread and there they were... just wanted to double confirm! thanks for the info man
just keep in mind a 285 will stick out further than a 265. My wheels are actually narrower than the Methods by 0.5" but the 285 itself will have some more poke.
really cant go wrong though, both look good just wanted mine a little more tucked. no issues rubbing at all after doing the crash-bars...
awesome build. +0 is pretty aggressive however lots of guys run on the forum and I personally believe it looks really good with a set of flares. Just wasn't the look I was going for. I was looking at +35 MRW703's, ended with +20 KMC Canyons. Same tire size, for example.
Excited to see what you...
i'll try and take some pics once I decide i'm definitely going for it. went back and forth with someone at APG and he was saying the mono-leafs settle a lot faster than the deavers and confirmed your statement about the fronts.
Will keep everyone in the loop.
Think I am going to pull the trigger on the standard weight APG Deaver leaf spring pack. I'd like to do a driveway install. Any tips or tricks you would guys have?
How many beers will I need? etc.
