  1. Tube on Fan Clutch Sensor Wire Problem

That makes sense. Thanks! I’ll replace it today if there is an open auto parts store.
  2. Tube on Fan Clutch Sensor Wire Problem

So there is a sensor on the fan clutch that runs between the pulleys and the radiator fan. It is attached to a roughly 3/4 inch wide radiator hose going from the fan assembly to what looks like a steel nub going nowhere on the accessory cover. It LOOKS LIKE the tube is nothing but a way to...
  3. Brake Pad Replacements

I haven’t not stopped when I wanted/needed to in over 100,000 miles. You do you.
  4. Brake Pad Replacements

The OEM pads seem to be really good for the Ranger. I am at 101k miles on the original pads. I don't remember the measurement, but they aren't going to need replacing anytime soon. Rock Auto had a sale on pads last year sometime, so I have a spare set of OEMs for all four, but it appears they...
  5. Jack Height?

I love that this turned into a discussion on decks, lol. I ended up buying something that will work off Amazon. I appreciate the help!
  6. Jack Height?

I tried a few different search terms and couldn’t come up with anything helpful.
  7. Jack Height?

Trying to figure out Jack height I need. I have a 2.5 inch level and 33 inch tires. Jacking off the frame rail, will a 21” max jack height work?
  8. Engine Cover

I’ll be at LBL in less than a month. I figure I’ll clean it after that, lol.
  9. New ARB Skid Plate

If there are better instructions, by all means they should be used. But out of curiosity, what was actually incorrect about the ARB instructions? I never found any errors--just that they were awful.
  10. Engine Cover

I installed mine. Looks wonky. I can't imagine there is some other way to install it. Should it look like this?
  11. New ARB Skid Plate

Be warned: unless they have been redone, the instructions are correct but terrible. Most important thing is to pay attention to which fasteners are used in each step.
  12. New ARB Skid Plate

How do you drain? Using a funnel of some sort? I am lucky enough to have a friend with a pump, so I drain through my dipstick tube.
  13. Coastal Offroad Sliders and Rear done!

Looks awesome! I really want those sliders.
  14. Off road recovery question

I pulled a first gen Tundra out of mud, up a 12* mountain trail, and across a pretty scary river last year in the Ozarks. Just had a standard tow strap.
  15. Who’s Overlanding the Ranger?

It’s an eBay T5 snorkel. Took some effort, but it works well. Here is my thread: https://www.ranger5g.com/forum/threads/installed-a-snorkel-sort-of.14730/
  16. Who’s Overlanding the Ranger?

I overland with a group of friends in the Ozarks. I just use a ground tent. I would love a swag. I like the ARB skydome… These pics are oddly the best I have. Two different campsites In Arkansas. My tent is the green Gazelle tent.
