Had a chance to run out to the truck earlier than expected. Hopefully good news(?) @NHR, I hopped into Forscan and searched on "adaptive" and enabled three Adaptive Cruise Control settings which now shows a menu I didn't previously have when turning cruise on but I haven't yet had a chance to...
Interesting, when I hit the Terrain Management button it cycles through and shows me on the center screen which modes I'm cycling through but my locking diff doesn't show up when I activate or deactivate it like you mentioned but I can hear it engaging and disengaging. I'll have to scroll...
Correcting myself on a previous reply, I think I misunderstood what NHR had asked when originally asking about the switch packs. The upper right switch pack (arrow switches) does not work as is, being in the Lariat configuration still, and I have not yet swapped out for the other variant to test...
Do you have the part # for the other RH switch assembly? If not, I believe I've got it jotted down somewhere and can look as I was eventually planning to do the same. I plan to hop back into Forscan to see if there's anywhere I can look at messing with ACC settings to bring that back too.
Sure, sorry about the late reply on this. The physical swap itself if simple, it just requires popping off the vents to the left and right of the cluster and then lifting up the cover between the steering wheel and the cluster itself and removing the 4(?) screws holding it in place. Once the 4...
Nope, they still work. I actually changed the controls in Forscan to the non-Lariat switch pack thinking I needed to after swapping the clusters which made them quit working but after realizing that I changed the setting back to the Lariat pack and had volume control, prev/next, etc.
Wanted to follow up on this, ended up trying to send the replacement XLT cluster off to have the odometer corrected and brought up to my truck's mileage, however, the service I chose said they didn't have the ability to change mileage on our clusters after receiving it. So for the hell of it...
18", just the factory wheels that came on my truck. Found a set on Craigslist to get a couple matching spares mounted as the factory spare was a 17" steelie.
Your mileage may vary but I'm running 265/70r18 KO2s on the factory wheels without any rubbing, I haven't been able to test offroad any or air down but there's room at full lock between the front crash bars and if I do rub I'll start by trying to adjust those. It also fits in the factory spare...
Hmm, no luck on mine. Tried a few different troubleshooting steps but still no dice. I've got a second cluster with higher mileage than mine I'll just wait to swap in if need be. Currently sent off the first XLT cluster to an odometer correction service to bring it up to my mileage, assuming...
I like this idea, maybe something similar for those running something like a Prinsu roof rack too. Then again I believe that specific rack requires expanding existing whole anyways.. so maybe not the best example.
Part of the reason I stuck with 265 width was because I thought I'd read on here that some folks had a worry of the tire making contact with the UCA on the factory wheels due to backspacing but I'm not positive on that because I planned to stick with a 265. Looking at the tiresize.com comparison...
Yep! The factory Hankooks were a 265/60r18 (minus the spare underneath) and after spending what seemed like weeks decided on a tire size, the 265/70r18s fit with no issues for me. I read where some folks adjusted their front crash bars up some if they had rubbing but I haven't had to do that and...
