After all the tail waging stories of late, I am thinking that a wdh or sway control
Will mess with the sway setting on the truck and cause more problems than it saves.
Those with tail waging , try to tow with out all the extra hardward.
Just allow the trailer to run flat not nose up...

I also found the engine staying in to high a gear at lower speeds.
I have started to use sport where the speeds are under 50 mph and
up shift to drive above that.
The problem with being in S all the time is you lose the top 2 gears and
"I think" the trans lockup allowing slip/lower...

Unless you are building a special "off road" truck .
I would use a good quality "plastic" gas can.[there are many]
and only carry them [loaded ] when needed.
The weight of steel cans and the mounts ,takes even more payload that the ranger does not have.

I had a Bronco II with a limited slip front and a locking rear.[Special order from ford by me]

I think the shutter is trans shift problem or the torque lockup trying to go in or out.
If you drive it hard no problem but mine shows up when cold and or first starting out.
Very low engine speeds or very light touch on the gas pedal .

As a pilot , I have had to deal with large pressure changes ...
In a normal engine ,, as the pressure goes down , you go higher, the output [hp] goes down.
This is NOT true of a boosted engine...
As long as the wast gate is adjusted correctly,, the engine will see sea level...

Drive the tach,,,,,, try to keep it close to 2000rpm...
once you get to 55ish and on cruse ,, be in Drive or you don't use the top 2 gears AND the trans does not lock up. [torque converter slip]
