There's only a short list for me:
Power sliding rear window (it's a reach, even in a SuperCab)
Memory Seats. I'm OCD about getting my seating position right and was really hoping Ford would have this on the Ranger
Heated Steering wheel.
Sure I can live without all of the above, but wouldn't...
Feeling the winter blend pain, too. Went from a solid 22 MPG to about 19 MPG. Using regular 87, no mods. I'll see what tomorrow's fill-up brings, and it is looking a little better. I am remote-starting on some mornings but really no more than 5 minutes idle time when I do. I'm sure that"s not...
Outside of the one sitting in my driveway, I've only seen a few others. Like less than 5 not counting mine. So mostly SuperCrews in this area. But I do pass a silver SuperCab Lariat at a house I pass on my way to work. Pretty cool to see another one almost every workday.
Thanks!! I've heard about the smoke show driving away from the place haha. I guess I can park on the grass a few days afterwards just to be safe. My other option was Ziebart, but I'm just not too sure about them anymore. I've heard people that love it and others that wouldn't recommend it...
I'm in NE Ohio and leaning heavily towards using Krown on my Ranger. Does it seep much off the truck? If it does, how long? Also, how much of a clean up afterwards to the exterior? Thanks in advance!
I had a 2010 F-150 and I loved that truck. I had no need for a 1/2 ton, but enjoyed having a truck. I traded in my 01 Ranger for the F-150, coulda got another Ranger but hated that Ford was essentially letting the Ranger die at that point without updating it, but I digress. Traded in the F-150...
No regrets on my SuperCab. All the trucks I've owned have been SuperCabs (01 Ranger and 10 F-150). I only occasionally haul more than one passenger, and most of my friends and family are under 6 foot tall, so they fit reasonably enough.
My only issue so far is I have a rattle in the door on...
Same here! Took a call to their support line for me to get the clamp placement right. Better instructions would have been great in the first place, but I will say their support line was very helpful.
Thanks for posting! Those did come with my install kit. When washing my truck today I noticed two of my clamps were loose. I'm going to call Undercover tomorrow about it to see if there are updated clamps or not. I love my cover but it drives me crazy at the same time haha. I just can't seem to...
Mind posting some pics of these brackets when they come in? I might have got these with mine, but I want to be sure before I call Undercover. I think this might be the trick because it wasn't to much of a hassle for me to keep the rails at 90 degrees. It was getting the clamps to tighten onto...
There is so little steel for them to bite onto it's maddening. Mine hasn't flown off yet, so I think I'm good. But like I said, the one clamp that fought me the most looks questionable again... But the rails are on tight!
I ended up doing the install a few weeks ago but I'm still not thrilled with how the brackets worked out. One looks to have come loose again. They fought me the whole time and kept slipping off. If you don't mind, please post pics of the updated brackets they send. I may have to look into this...
