I have never leased, but I do believe on the deal they have a buyout based on the expected depreciation of the vehicle. During the peak of the car market, people were flipping their cars that they signed a lease before the start of the pandemic for a profit. Because they were able to buy their...

About the soft open tailgate, no they don’t have them from factory, but for under 50 bucks you can buy the damper and put it on. Haven’t done it myself, so I don’t have any feedback.
The dealership tried yesterday and was unable to change it even with forscan so they said they would have to use the aftermarket module which they were going to charge 400 dollars for.
I find the bed to be quite large for a midsize truck on the ranger. Comparing to all of the competition, it is very deep. Length is what it is for a midsize. The gladiator and Tacoma beds are extremely shallow.
I was just wondering because with PPF I know you can put wax or ceramic products on top of it, but I with ceramic coatings being applied you have to use certain types of products to maintain that coating.
I like meguiars ultimate liquid wax or turtle wax hybrid ceramic for protection. Both are super easy to apply. I think the liquid wax is a little longer lasting. By ceramic wrap do you mean ceramic coating or do you mean paint protection film or both?
Yeah and removing the air dams is required to fit the bigger plate so just contemplating if that plate is thicker or more protective enough to justify.
Several people on this forum including myself have had this happen as a one and done kind of thing. Mine did it at the dealership after the first oil change and nothing since. Seems like it’s an electrical fluke that shouldn’t be harmful.
How much of an improvement is the silver fx4 plate over the black stock plate on the regular 4x4? Considering adding, but don’t want to lose mpgs from the air dam if it isn’t a good bit more protective.
What exactly is the difference between the black skid on the regular 4x4 and the silver fx4? Is it thicker? Wider? Stronger? Trying to decide if it’s worth it. I know it extends out further to meet the bumper.
Is a tune the only way to recalibrate speedometer/ odometer? Looking at possibly 265/70s but the stock 255/65 dueler rhs has not been bad for me honestly
