My dad has a turbo CX 5 and I had a CX 3. Mazdas are a terrific bang for your buck car. They might not have the best 0-60 times but the experience of driving them is just so much more fun than their competitors. The steering is precise and quick, you get a lot of feedback through the wheel, and...
A lot of cars have it as standard, but not all. It should be though, items that decrease deaths should not be an option. I know that brings some increase in price, but not the 30K increase that we have seen over the recent years
Yes and no to the part about equipping with more stuff. There are still a lot of these vehicles that are 40k+ and the extra safety equipment is all optional. Parking sensors, blind spot, forward collision warning, lane departure, etc. I always look at the vehicles on sale at local dealers and...
I do not think direct to consumer made to order is ever going to be able to be the main way to buy new cars. It should be easier than it is and should be streamlined to order online for pickup at your local dealer, but not having cars on the lot for people to test drive and try out new features...
Watched this video as well. I agree with him that by the looks of it that trail boss interior is pathetic for a 40k+ vehicle. Its annoying to me that in the truck market they jack up the price and give you less for your money than buying say a midsize suv. No LED headlights, no wrap on the...
Does your rough country bed mat have little nubs on the bottom for drainage? I ordered one as well because it said that it had them on amazon, but it is definitely smooth.
Question for you guys. I got the tune installed on Monday, so 2 days ago, and the shifts were a little rough off the bat as expected. The instruction sheet says that it may take a few miles or days for the rough shifting to get back to normal. I was just wondering how long this lasted for you? I...
I have also read elsewhere that getting things covered under warranty at GM dealers is not always easy. Being stingy with the warranty will also help lower costs.
I'm having it installed on Monday. Is it best for me to make my ford performance account and download the update at home, then bring it in to the dealer for the final install?
Like the other person mentioned, Bakflip is a good brand. I have the Ford hard-folding cover, which is a rebranded Bakflip, and it only gets water from the tailgate which is no fault of the cover. The contents of the bed are always dry, just a small amount of water on the floor.
I have had a...
No that shouldn't have any effect. The "leveling" part of the kit is the coilovers in front. Lots of people on here have really enjoyed the ride after changing the rears out.
Also I would keep an eye on the ford accessories website. When I bought the kit, they had a sale of 10% off 1000 dollars or more which helped save a little cash. Lately all i have been seeing on the website is deals for under 1000.
I believe it was 600 for the install plus alignment afterwards. But I did use the fordpass rewards from the purchase of the truck to cover some of it. The price at the dealer was actually the same or cheaper than the quotes I was getting from other shops.
I purchased this kit from Ford website and had it installed at my local dealer install. There are no extra parts needed. The coilovers are adjustable, but I believe the warranty is voided if they adjust them at all from how it comes from Ford. Love the suspension by the way.
Not sure, but it is definitely an increased risk. I hadn’t even thought about the stress to bridges and parking structures until this thread. Just found this article too, never heard of this site but sounds credible...
This has been a constant thought in my head. Especially that Hummer EV. These EVs are weighing 6,7,8000 lbs and accelerating 0-60 in 3.0-4.5 seconds. The ability of people to drive safely and control vehicles much slower and lighter is already questionable. Now these extremely heavy vehicles...
I like the new Colorado a lot and the in-tailgate storage. The pricing is pretty competitive from what I saw. Midsize competition will be strong these next few years with new Tacoma, Ranger, Colorado/ Canyon, presumably ridgeline, and an offering from Ram is surely on the way.
