I never cease to be amazed by the damage people manage to do to their own cars. Was the former owner cleaning it off with a pocket knife? I once saw a 1 year old car that looked like it was driven through a briar bush on a daily basis.
Exactly what I am thinking about, the Exitrax 930s are even on sale for 81 bucks. Kinda considering those now too. At the same time I love how the GoTreads are so easy to store and will likely at least help in any given situation
How have these held up for you? I am considering Maxtrax, ActionTrax( Ford branded), ARB Tred Pro( Ford site as well), Exitrax 1110 or ultimate, and GoTreads. Mostly wanting them in case of getting stuck in snow/ ice. It looks like all of the Exitrax ultimates are sold out at this time however...
It has 3 folding panels and then a very small 4th panel that is essentially the base where it sits when folding 100 percent of the way.
It’s been a fine cover and is holding up pretty well, there are a few tiny chips off the finish on top and that’s really the only cosmetic issues with it. It is...
Well they have a person that deals with all the accessories and probably Ford Performance. No different than if you owned a Raptor and were servicing the shocks. Or maybe there’s a rep from Fox that goes to certain dealers on certain days, I am not certain how it works but there are lots of cars...
I don't recall my exact conversation, but I had asked the service people at Ford when I bought the shocks. I believe they told me bring it to them and its done that day.
1. Our trucks have lane departure warning with lane keep assist. The settings can be adjusted on dash screen to have it vibrate the wheel and have a slight steering correction to try to keep you in the lane. It does not have lane centering, so it will push you back to the lane and that is it...
Sounds terrifying. Hopefully a quick and easy fix. I accidentally knocked into 4H once after plugging in a charger in the usb port, but 4L is a different story.
I’d have to test it by having a microphone closer to the floor board but yours sounds like more of grinding, at least for me it seems to be some sort of vibration
I’ve had these exact same issues since new. It only happens in that 20-30 mph or 50-60 mph range. Mine feels more like a vibration of the whole truck, either slowing down or speeding up gets it out of it. Haven’t asked the dealer about yet. I just assumed they would say it’s characteristic of...
No idea on cost I’d estimate around 10000 assuming no frame damage.
I am curious however did AEB kick in? And how did it do? Considering air bags didn’t deploy speed must of have been drastically reduced.
I went with SL AT3s. I went back and forth a million times between them, the falkens, and the KO2s. Ultimately I was sold on the AT3s after reading the Tire Rack reviews and several others where they praised the performance in snow. I ruled out the KO2s because they did not review well in the...
