My first car in HS was a 1951 Ford. Not my car but it looked just like this. Originally it had a flathead 6 cylinder engine. I managed to blow that up and put in a 53 Merc flathead V8. Sure wish I still had that car.
I found one on ebay. I wanted to make my spare a road wheel.
Here is a set of 4 with free shipping.

Mine does that occasionally. Generally though not when I sit for a minute or so to let the fluids circulate and let things start to warm up. Been in the teens here too.
Yes. I traded in a 2019 JLU Sport for a 2020 Ranger XLT FX4. It was lightly modded with Rubicon suspension and 255/75 tires. It had the 3.6L engine and manual transmission. It saw a fair amount of time exploring the NV desert but I did not rock crawl on purpose. I wanted something more...
Wow! The oil viscosities are sure taking a beating in these engines considering the low miles on the oil. Even Doc's with no apparent fuel dilution.
Are you guys changing your own oil? I would almost suspect some dealers are using 5w-20.
I'll be changing oil on my Ranger soon and plan on...
My Dealer charged me 3 hrs labor for the front struts R&R. I used my points from the purchase of the truck so out of pocket was $168. The local Goodyear dealer charged me $98 for the alignment. I did the rear shocks myself.
Lol. Ok, that was funny. Never saw the movie but I will now.
ETA: Project Shoal was detonated at Goat Flat. This is about 50 miles east of my home. A couple of miles east of the marker is a Navy bombing range. I used to work there many years ago in the USN. Pretty cool when the 500...
They're okay. They have enough platform that I can step on them to wash the windshield or roof. I'm tall enough I really don't need them to get in and out of my Ranger. The main reason I got them was for rocker protection on gravel roads and rock protection. They also sell a version that is...
OP, these are the running boards I got.

Still running the FX4 shocks?
After I installed the Ford Performance/Fox shocks and struts I noticed a dramatic improvement in towing stability when hauling my travel trailer. I still have the stock Hankook tires set to 35 psi.
I came of age in the days of 3k mile oil changes. I ignore oil monitors and my habit for years is 5k oil and filter changes. I use synthetic oil and a quality filter. At the same time I rotate the tires.
Sometimes I'll send an oil sample off for analysis.
I didn't care for factory running...
You'll need metric.
ETA: Come to think of it you will be better served with having both on hand. The truck will be mostly metric but aftermarket accessories could be SAE. I keep both in my off-road tool box.
