  1. Carrier bearing noise( video included)

Hopefully you have enough warranty left for when it warms up. They will replace the whole drive shaft assembly not just the bearing.
  2. Cybertruck

I’m on the fence for looks but it has great features for what it is. There’s a lot myths already circulating without any real evidence. I don’t like EVs but as the saying goes “There’s an ass for every driver’s seat “ BTW so far if I was to get an EV this would be the one, not a Lightning.
  3. Carrier bearing noise( video included)

If it’s the center shaft bearing then as weather warms up it gets noisier from what I’ve read here.
  4. N00b here

Realistically Chris I was not kidding but as others have pointed out this is one of if not the best forum out there for fun and technical information. Enjoy your new ride/hobby..
  5. N00b here

Hide your wallet, lurking can get expensive.
  6. It has happened to me! (Dreaded Fan Sensor - Crumbling Hose!)

BTW correctly identifying a problem is half of the solution, just saying..
  7. It has happened to me! (Dreaded Fan Sensor - Crumbling Hose!)

Ok so how do you propose we resolve the shock absorbing effect of the hose and integrate a break away function? Inquiring minds want to know..
  8. It has happened to me! (Dreaded Fan Sensor - Crumbling Hose!)

I get it. It’s just what will you lose or cause with a break away? I suppose you could increase the wire size and add connector with smaller wire size at the fan module that will break away but you would need an anchor point to hold the larger wire in place. Be it a break away connector or...
  9. It has happened to me! (Dreaded Fan Sensor - Crumbling Hose!)

Yeah the idea is a great one but I can foresee a lot of false failures, water intrusion etc. Just too many unintended headaches. Failure prevention is the best solution in my mind.
  10. Missing backup guidelines after replacing camera

BTW good choice, I too prefer the black ovals. Came stock with the BAP and they fit well with any color I can think about.
  11. Missing backup guidelines after replacing camera

Actually that’s helpful too for many people!! Heck I didn’t even laugh.. I learned a couple of new things today.
  12. Missing backup guidelines after replacing camera

Well thanks for sharing the tips but please share why you had to replace the camera.. a lot of us share our “oh crap” moments that lead to the necessity of a solution. I promise not to laugh too hard..
  13. Help! On side of highway… trans issues

Heck a lot of states have 80 mph posted limits with some at 85 mph. As we all know that’s just a guideline for most who push 5-10 mph above until they see the constabulary. My truck feels right at home doing 80-85 mph on cruise control. There are some that just aren’t comfortable at those speeds...
  14. I'll keep mine

    Rapid Red all the way!!
  15. It has happened to me! (Dreaded Fan Sensor - Crumbling Hose!)

I’m thinking silicone tape at the attached points to preserve the elasticity of the design. Maybe that is what’s needed IDK.
  16. It has happened to me! (Dreaded Fan Sensor - Crumbling Hose!)

Hey AT, It’s basically a dynamic shock absorber that can deteriorate without a fail safe. That’s why the molded bend in the hose. I’ve suggested the use of a back up wire in the past but widely rejected. That’s ok. I really like all of your input here. Hopefully we can find a great solution to...
  17. Sudden Acceleration

You may want to do the ABS function thru Forescan as mentioned on here to firm the brake pedal response.
  18. Sudden Acceleration

Fat foot and brake pedal travel. It has happened to me a couple of times. You can’t feel the accelerator while braking but it’s being pushed. It scares the crap out of you until you realize what happened.
