I've got GTR Carbide LEDs that are similar to the Vland, and I did not need the harness when I enabled the LED DRL in forscan (I think that was the setting). Testd with/without and was able to get normal DRL behavior without the harness.

if you seal the sump/storage area you could just bolt a piece of mdf to the top (with appropriate seal). Be mindful of space needed for each sub.

Anyone with drop in leds is a selfish prick. They overdrive reflectors, and create significant scatter above cutoff. You can’t aim that away. I go out of my way to flash these assholes because of all the “well I never get flashed” posts. if you want leds pony up for replacement headlights.

I ponied up and bought an extended warranty. Mine has sporadic rough shifting, particularly when running cold/first started and leaving. Sometimes it is buttery smooth, other times, it does feel like you got rear-ended.

Your window auto-up/down gets reset when battery is disconnected. There is a procedure in the manual to get it on auto again.
