  1. New York Clear View towing mirrors FS

Ah I'd scoop them up if they had blind spot.
  2. New Jersey Full Set (4) OEM Ford 17" Magnetic Aluminum wheels off 2020 XLT FX4

If i still had family in NJ and you'd split I'd love one for a matching spare when i replace my tires.
  3. I’m coming back to the Ranger club!

I’m not advocating for an electric option as being better, just complaining that the gas range is abysmal. In high winds out west 175isn’t possible, coupled with large distances between stations and you make less than optimal stops. 62mph, same camper in PA, OH, IN, IL and I’m getting a smidge...
  4. Towing the Line?

How close were you to each of the axle ratings/payload? Cap ain't helping.
  5. I’m coming back to the Ranger club!

Instead you can do gas stations every hundred miles ? I wish there were a replacement tank that wasn't $2K, and also that didn't hang below the frame. I'd take 27 gallons.
  6. Letter From Lawyers

The transmission clearly has issues... I went extended warranty route as I like the truck enough otherwise.
  7. Rock deflectors...why?

Oddly, I didn't buy mine for aesthetics, but I have had it on so long I do feel like rangers without them seem... naked? I don't know.
  8. Rock deflectors...why?

It is not clear to me from your post that you understand how these work. They do not simply protect the area directly under the deflector, but are supposed to help protect the hood entirely. For me, it was windshield. Dealing with repairing chips is a pain.
  9. Average life of the stock battery?

average life? Horrific. first lasted 23 months, second is already disabling A-S-S in 50 degree weather at 12 months age. Pathetic.
  10. FTC to tackle dealership upcharges

Just in time for excess truck inventory. Lots are full, outside of a few high demand models it's becoming a buyer's market. The fact manufacturer's just increased their MSRP (F-150s up 10-15K on the same model/trim, Rangers 5-10K increase), means we'll be seeing deep "discounts" in the near-term.
  11. Long Range America Tank

I hope these work well for those that ordered! I love the idea of support for a larger tank, especially after dragging a camper across SD, WY and "enjoying" single digit MPG in crosswinds and accompanying range. I'd love to see a V2 that is still tucked into the frame, as my skid plates see...
  12. Ranger Tremor Upfitter Switches

I mean you do you, but I'd think the volume control on your head unit might accomplish the same thing. My sub setup does have a remote which i have stuffed under the seat - haven't touched it in the last year or so.
  13. Ranger Tremor Upfitter Switches

Why do you want to use the switches vs just running a remote line (or relying on a LoC type remote sensor)?
  14. What did you do to your Ranger today?

i mean, CVT means that the net elevation change is opposite on the way back as on the way in. If there is a hill you go up and down on a route, you aren't going "uphill both ways." One way is equally downhill as the other is uphill (and vice versa).
  15. Hot Metal Fab Rock Sliders?

Forget OSHA, that guy for sure ain't fork lift certified.
  16. Decisions decisions.....what would you do?

Normally you would look at needs. Does payload, towing difference dictate you keep one over the other? Given you do not use either I'm not sure what you want us to say. If you don't need a truck and would rather have the money, sell them both. Anyone want to bet on if the jeep sees jeep use?
  17. Odd ignition chime tone

It means the battery is at a low voltage. I am on my second battery, and the Auto start stop is taking longer to enable, and if the car sits for more than a day it makes the chime you have a video of. It turns off some functions below a voltage, the normal beep among them apparently. My second...
  18. What are some reliable, practical 2nd vehicle options?

Oops, focus (post I was replying to was talking about a 2012 focus).
  19. What are some reliable, practical 2nd vehicle options?

Pretty amazing! It’s my first light road bike, dropped 10lbs or so vs the bloated sora bike I started with. I still have a few ultra weight weenie bits to install, and am swapping to an integrated handlebar setup. I carry that stuff too - toolbag is under 300g. Took me a few flats to realize...
  20. What are some reliable, practical 2nd vehicle options?

I had a 2012 ranger hatchback, 5 speed. Sporty, fun car but 32-33mpg vs 22 is not THAT much of an improvement. The problem with your budget, OP is that for the math to make sense you need a car that doubles the mpg (if you want gas savings to pay). Now we are talking hybrids and the problem...
