as much of a redneck as I am and love all V8 sounds, the sound of a flat plane V10/V12 from any of the supercar/hypercars are awesome. The Lambo V12 will always get me giggly when watching Cannonball Run movies lol
Well...they are owned by Volkswagen...so the engines are gone but the e-motors will be unable to produce whatever its listed when plugged in to do the yearly vehicle inspection.
Honestly, now even a Lambo Urraco or Jalpa is worth alot more now.
Mi Gusta
And don't forget...the Ferrari Daytona and 1 of three Ferrari Testarossa's in Miami Vice were conversions. The Daytona was based on a C3 Vette and the Testarossa stunt car was built on a Pantera. I remember the hot rod magazine issue where they showed the Testarossa and had a 351...
I think it will be slightly bigger than the Ranger - looks like it has the Tundra look kind of I figure.
I just wonder what they will be doing with the power plant options...since their V-6 isn't the greatest for performance but decent reliability...I think they should look at boost...
Remember that the Powertrain warranty is 5/60 - wouldn't this also include any and all TSB's relating to the Trans including the reflash needed on PCM's and such?
I hear alot of folks poo pooing on the straight six. and also alot of defense of them.
My dads first F100 had a 3 speed column shift (I hate the "three on the tree" moniker lol) and a 300 straight six. That engine was ridiculous when it came to reliability and lack of needed maintenance...
Damn...I'm looking at bone spur surgery in both shoulders...but I'm toughing it out...for now...but for how long?!?!? I'm staring at 50 next year....how long do I have before I succumb!!?!?
eh...careful with the loctite and checking torque...if the bolt shifts just a smidge, the loctite will technically be broken.
trust me on this, part of my job is as a trainer at work (work on pipeline inspection equipment...pigs :P ) and we use loctite, tie wire and other items and this is a...
its funny but I had to do that to my 2005 F150 as well...I'd use a good high temp red grease and it would be fine for a few years. then it would start clunking about again and I'd "rinse and repeat"
I see I have a job for mine - thought I was just having a flashback from my old truck :) lol
you aren't kidding about the prices. I've been looking for just an old beater that I can piddle around with and fix up later...
BEATER BOXES are going for north of 5k
I figure I'll wait lol
