  1. What did you do WITH your Ranger today?

I took the Ingot XLT to a gas station last night for some fuel. The windshield was a mess and I was shuffling back and forth between the windshield and the squeegee water bucket. I finished fueling and was reaching for the door handle. I spotted an unnoticed bird splat and went back for that...
  2. Spotted a Ranger with flames on the hood

Several of us on the forum have a set up like that. Here's my front end.
  3. Capless fuel filler looking strange, normal?

I'd get a second opinion from another dealer.
  4. Dealing with Carvana

Since you towed it, I wonder if they're paying more for it because of the baseplate/setup? It's certainly more valuable that way to some.
  5. Boomba dress up kit installed(mostly)

I once borrowed a friend's early-70's International Scout. Right in the center of the dash was a big knob that said "OOOH". I was scared to death to touch the oooh knob. When I returned the Scout to him, I asked about the oooh knob. He looked confused and asked me to point it out to him. He...
  6. Tailgate Speakers ???

It's going to make that tailgate even heavier.
  7. Show your (1st) old Rangers

Here's mine. I loved that pickup. Drove it for years. (And, back in '78, I drove a Ford Courier.)
  8. Job, what do you do

Retired after thirty years in healthcare data analytics and consulting. Now, a full-time traveler, adventure-seeker, and YouTuber.
  9. Why The President Of Jeep ‘Feels Sorry’ For Ford

Having spent many years in marketing, it's very difficult to make your product look more attractive by throwing rocks at a competing product--especially when you use their name. The times that my outfit would try it, it would get bad results. I'm guessing that this guy was just being cocky and...
  10. Post your off-road pics.

It's a (de-badged) DeeZee. Got it from Amazon and more than once it's protected my back window from reckless gear tosses.
  11. Where do you get your oil changed?

I've got an appointment at my local Ford dealer for this Friday. I'll pay $50 and they'll change oil, check alignment, and rotate the tires. I'll probably also have them change the transmission fluid. These guys give my pickup TLC and have won my trust.
  12. "Steelie Dan" '21 XL Ranger Build

You've got a pretty capable pickup there. Nicely executed.
  13. Post your off-road pics.

On the rim of a remote West Texas canyon.
  14. What did you do WITH your Ranger today?

Thanks, Tracy. The channel is a silly retirement thing that we're doing. Our grandchildren think we're movie stars. That's all the glamor and acclaim that we wanted. But, that being said, our winter series should be cool. We've named that trip the "Mostly Coastly Winter Adventure". We plan...
  15. What did you do WITH your Ranger today?

Your motive really doesn't matter. Your IQ and earning potential went up regardless. Thanks for the subscription. We're wrapping up a great summer trip now and have an awesome winter trip planned.
  16. What did you do WITH your Ranger today?

Suspension upgrades. To make it drive less like a delivery truck. Which, BTW, was what that chassis was designed to be.
  17. What did you do WITH your Ranger today?

Hi Duke. Only a few thousand. Here's one outside of a Sonic in the Texas Panhandle. A chili cheese dog was consumed just after this picture was taken. On our YouTube channel's next video (coming out Wednesday!), we'll have footage out the Bay Star's back window and viewer's will get to see...
  18. What did you do WITH your Ranger today?

I'd like to say that our Ingot XLT brought us to this place, but actually we dragged it here. We're spending the night in the middle of nowhere. Back in the 1800s, my wife's family was one of the first families to settle west Texas. It was a hot, dry, hostile place full of snakes and...
  19. Ordered a New Ranger. After reading about the numerous problems on this Forum I am not sure I made a good choice.

Take a drive tomorrow. Go look at some mountains and think about the adventures you'll soon be having. You'll feel better.
