  1. Odd spare tire

Yeah, Oops! I made the same mistake. I ordered a set of 5 tires (275/65-18s) for my stock 18” wheels. And come to find out that the spare wheel is a 17”. Now I have to head back to the tire shop again and change out the spare tire with a 275/70-17. Very close in size.
  2. BDS 2” leveling kit installed

Full write-up forthcoming. On a scale of 1 to 10, 10 being a major PITA, this was at least a 9. On my way to the tire shop then alignment shop tomorrow. Some quick notes: 1) You’ll really need these tools in particular: a heavy duty strut compressor, an air hammer (yes really) and air impact...
  3. Warning about Rough Country 2.5" Leveling Kit

Thanks! It’s a 35mm axle nut for anyone that is wondering.
  4. Warning about Rough Country 2.5" Leveling Kit

Anyone have a torque spec for the CV retainer nut?
  5. FORScan Modifications

Bump. This feature is starting to annoy me. It kills the engine so quickly that it’s doing it at 4-way stop intersections; completely unnecessary and far too aggressive.
  6. Gibson Exhaust sound clip

Did they give you any indication about when they were going to make their system(s) available for purchase? And what color/finish would you say they gave you for the exhaust tip?
  7. BDS 2" Leveling Kit now available

I have my kit as well. Couldn’t find my old strut compressor so I have to wait until Monday when Amazon delivers. Probably should have just gone to Autozone and rented a kit, but I don’t like to mess around by using junk tools to compress struts.
  8. Gibson Exhaust sound clip

Yes, I dare to say I like it. “Hate” is a strong word for the other exhausts I’ve heard, but I definitely dislike them.
  9. GFB DV+

I was going to ask you guys if you noticed any difference in the throttle response, then decided it would be just as easy to go install it and see for myself. I should have provided additional pics but I ran into the same “now what” moment before pulling that big circular plastic collar away...
  10. Warning about Rough Country 2.5" Leveling Kit

So I’ll need two of these for the tie rod my install? I’m getting ready to installl the BDS 2” level kit. I might as well get the Nyloc nuts for the upper ball joint as well, right? I generally locktite blue everything on the suspension. Better safe than sorry. I’ve never had anything back off...
  11. Bike Rack & Tonneau Covers

Diamondback Covers. You can mount virtually anything you want to them. Bike racks, tents, racks, you name it. They should be out soon, they are down to some final prototypes. Apparently the Ranger is a tough fit.
  12. Diamondback Covers

I already have a Yakima Bed Extender I intend to pair with the cover when I need to haul extra long loads. It’s like having a long bed without having to deal with parking it all the time.
  13. Magnaflow Single/Dual Exhausts for the 2019+ Ranger

I’m undecided on a new exhaust. If an aftermarket exhaust is going to be a substantially a better flowing exhaust, then I’d like to have one. I just don’t want a substantially louder exhaust. I don’t think I’m going to have it both ways, but I’m waiting to see if the dual exit mutes out some of...
  14. Diamondback Covers

I think Diamondback was expecting to already have their covers available for the Ranger based on their predictions a month ago. I just emailed them again and it appears they may be getting closer but have run into some issues in development for our trucks. Today’s email response: “We are still...
  15. Rough Country 2.5 Leveling Kit Install

Yes. Most of the kits out there (including RC) are coming with alignment specs to give to your shop.
  16. GFB DV+

Sold! Too bad I forgot about the code. Next time!
  17. GFB DV+

I don’t see this on Panda’s website yet for the Ranger.
  18. FORScan Modifications

Anyone see a Forscan mod to increase the time before Auto Start/Stop activates? It’s useful to me, but way too aggressive. I need it to be 3-5 seconds longer.
  19. Start Stop Feature on the 2.3L Ecoboost

I will keep the ASS active on my Ranger because ultimately it saves me about 10-15 minutes of idling fuel most times I drive my truck. What really drives me nuts is how aggressive it is, the time required to activate the feature should be longer. I don’t want it working at a 4-way stop, but at...
