  3. Road Trip

I have about 900 pic's to go through but I'll try and find some good ones. This was a trip my late wife and I were supposed to take so it was a little bittersweet. But I know she was watching out for me all the way!

    My butt appreciates it! Lol
  6. Road Trip

This 24' rides so much better than my 19'. I am so glad I ordered the Lariat over the XLT. The new seats are much more comfortable. You are right in regards to the power of the 2.3. Plenty there to drive comfortably!
  7. Road Trip

All, Took my 24' Lariat FX4 on a short road trip this summer. When I left my truck had just a little more than 2k miles on it. When I finished it was a little over 8200 miles. I averaged 24.5 mpg for the trip. The high temp I hit was 113° in central Texas and a low of 49° in Cody, WY. I had...
  8. Removing running boards

  9. Solution for those of us with damper arms

Hate to be the bearer of bad news, but the 6g has incorporated a ruler on the top edge as well as pop out limiters on each side when measuring. There is also a torsion rod and a factory tailgate damper. I guess Ford must have finally listened to AZScorpion on the damper!

  13. Mud flaps, Finally!

Got my Motorcraft mud flaps for the front of my Ranger today and decided to install them right away. Living on a gravel driveway can wreck havoc on the rocker panels. These have to be one of the easiest installs to do. All you need is a small Phillips screwdriver and a plastic body panel screw...
  14. Headrest Help

Believe it or not but I was not paying attention to the original post. Mine are 6g as well. Sorry for any confusion. I will blame it on old age!

  18. Line-X... check ✔️

There are 3 different levels. I have the mid with uv protection. I really didn't need it since I use a tonneau cover all the time. But I follow the old adage of it better to have it and not need it than to need it and not have it! Not sure on how to check short of going to a line-x dealer...
  19. Line-X... check ✔️

$687 Like I said not cheap but very well done.
