Well, that comment is quite fair I guess š
Luckily he doesnāt have a Tacoma but off-roader LC and a sedan. But he already tried this lobotomy thing on me āweāll see maybe your next truck wears Toyota signsā¦ā Who said Iāll quit my Ford? š¤Ø
I was the one who had zero tolerance on eating in cars. Yes, until I had my (really beautiful) 5G.
Well⦠life changed, 5G turned into 6G Raptor, new bf is 100% Toyota-guy and we have every day our lunch in his Toyota or my truck. :giggle:
They even created French fries holder for my Raptor. Intentionally Iām sure.
But, times have changed. I have been dating an offroader who is a Toyota guy and we have every day lunch together. Eating in whatever vehicle it just happens.
Had it on my Wildtrak and got new one with Raptor. Not loving it on winter times when it gets frozen, so I have thought about replacing it with something simple if itāll fail totally. I guess removing it wonāt be very hard. No manual came with it but it canāt be rocket science. 2020 truck, I...
John, I see you have been an active member here more than 4 years and you've owned this truck for quite long time for sure. How can you say you don't have steps yet? Admit - you don't want them! :D
You can notice sheās not very stock any more but prepared for some adventures waiting ahead.
Iāll continue with mods and building after I dig up pot of gold and find the perfect parts.
I had adBlue issue while my truck had a little more than 10 K km on her and this one time was good warning for me. My trips are not short and still all this DPF regeneration is so annoying now than I think about it. Explanation to my US friends - while truck is doing DPF regenaration it's not...
Hi!
You didnāt mention how many kilometers/miles you have driven after filling AdBlue tank.
Based on my experience there is no need to worry, truck calculated level will start to fall.
They are not even from far similar.
I kind of donāt care about the look anyway, what it does and is capable for is important.
Oh, one thing about the look is important - windows needed some additional tint
Sorry to disappoint you š
Actually my Raptor already is modded and more mods are on the way! This relationship is serious this time, but we take it slowly.
My target is to get something like that (3rd clip):

But... it's not perfect...
Yesterday washed my truck after few (ok, maybe three) months. Naive as I am I wasn't ready for that! I'm sure my Raptor is practicing sleepwalking (read:sleepoffroading). All the debris, sand and dirt I washed off from her - no way I had got it on her. That truck had to be sunk in the swamp or...
Well, almost :giggle:
The nose was at the bottom of the ditch and even if I was able to move her the nose didnāt come along. Narrow road, under the snow clear ice, several times I needed to add gravel under my truck. Men dug the snow around the truck, the chains were broken and everything was...
Sure I need to keep my eye on you, who knows what hits your mind here?! Beside those notorious acorns
David @subquark there is no protection film to wrap the roof of your truck? (Or the trees?) There are different types of films to wrap vehicles and some of them have protective...
Now that I have my Raptor I donāt even remember when I last bathed her.
I canāt stop admiring photos of my black 5G beauty I sold, but I really donāt miss all this one to one time with her in the bathroom. Still, a wax is a must and few other ways I keep her in good shape.
