So it looks like they now do a ton of pressure tests to check for internal seal leaks, but they only replace the seals, not the "defective" CDF drum. I also didn't see that there's no escalation procedure, i.e. rebuild or replace the transmission. Did I miss this in all of the test instructions?
Sounds a lot like the Toyota hybrids. The transmission is a CVT (Continuously Variable Transmission). Ironically, Subaru's had them for a while in their gas sedans. They don't shift like a normal transmission. They vary the torque to the drive wheels depending on the accelerator.

I had a similar experience when I brought my 2021 in for HVAC blend door issues. The service writers said pretty much he same thing as yours. If there's no codes, Ford won't pay for it, and the dealership would have to eat the time. Even though both your issue and my issue do not always throw...
I had a U-Haul tandem axle cargo trailer loaded with about a half ton of C&D debris from my son's house in Baltimore. The city operates public landfills where you can dump by the ton. They made me go up a single lane "road" on the side of the trash mountain in order to unload, then I had to back...
I love the matching red "inspection tape".
I have never owned a Mopar product. My Dad had a Plymouth Satellite wagon with the 383 and column shift. We used to sleep in the back on long trips.
My 2021 Lariat slips in 2nd and slams into 3rd, but only when cold. After 5 minutes, it's fine. I suspect it will get worse over time. Once it warms up I'll check for codes. With my dealer, no codes, no service. I have a 100K ESP so I'm ready for it when it happens.
