  6. I’m too tall!

Buy a cot tent from Teton or a "swag on a stretcher" from 23ZERO. A swag can be setup/broke down much faster than a bed tent and is more comfortable.
  7. Need options for connecting a 30W 12V Solar battery charger

The solar charger I bought does have a built-in AGM charge controller, but no desulfation feature. I have a NOCO Genius5 charger, but I don't want to run a power cord out to the street.
  8. Need options for connecting a 30W 12V Solar battery charger

Thanks, that looks like a great option. I will take a look at the grommet you are referencing. The charger I bought is: ZOUPW 30W 12V Solar Charger and does have an AGM compatible controller on it. It comes with a cable to attach to the battery terminals, so if I can thread it through, it will...
  9. Need options for connecting a 30W 12V Solar battery charger

For the time being I need to park my truck on the street next to my house and want to use a solar battery maintainer to keep the battery charged. I want to mount the solar panel to the inside surface of the windshield, so I will need internal access to the battery. My thoughts are: 1. Use a...

  17. Battery change ???s

You lost me here. How did the battery short? edit: I read up on it, has to do with the wrench hitting a body ground while removing the positive. By removing the negative first, the body is no longer a ground source for accidental contact.
  18. Unbelievable High Price for Oil Change

My last oil change was done by myself for just under $40 with full synthetic. I installed a ValvoMax drain plug so I can skip removing the skid plate. Takes maybe 20 minutes total, with most of that time waiting for the oil to drain. What is getting difficult for me is doing the tire rotation...
