OK, mud tires explains it in my mind. They don't work well on pavement, and probably shouldn't be used at speed on pavement. I am speaking from experience from a Jeep I once had. Those tires were great off road, but sucked on pavement.
Now at 4 years old and 22,000 miles, I still have no interest in a "truck" with a 5' bed.
If I didn't want a truck I would buy an SUV. More comfort, better gas mileage, lower price.
I just hope this transmission holds up a few more years until I get put in a nursing home.
Clovis NM is much worse than Amarillo. I had to live there almost a year while in the Air Force. My POS mobile home was just downwind of the stockyards. Amarillo smells pretty good when you are coming out of Clovis.
I learned about this in grade school science class about 60 years ago. It never ceases to amaze me how many people buy black cars and trucks here in AZ. My red one is bad enough.
Cholla buds seem to work best for packrats. Its one of their favorite nesting materials, and I have lots of them around. I have also used rat poison blocks.
That is what I use for packrats. If you release them alive they will come right back. I take them swimming and release them afterwards. The buzzards do the rest.
I have seen similar things with Android before. You play music in some app, and then some other music starts playing, and you can't control it - its not coming from the app.
As far as I know its an Android bug.
I used to have an Android tablet that did that, my friends Android phone has...
That article is comparing the particle emissions from brakes / tires of electric cars to the tailpipe emissions of gas cars. Makes no sense to me, it seems like most gas cars have tires and brakes also. Another of those highly biased articles / studies that compare apples to oranges to try to...
That may or may not be the driver. My sister has a Tesla and likes to use the autopilot a lot. Sometimes it does weird things - like when a vehicle approaches from a side road and stops: The Tesla will drive past it and then suddenly slow down. There were a few other times when it braked and...
That is what an EV is good for, daily driving on short trips. Going on a long trip? Wrong tool.
Just like a 3/4" ratchet is the wrong tool for tightening a 6-32 screw, and a 1/4" ratchet is the wrong tool for tightening your lug nuts.
What burns me is the gov't telling us we have to...
1,000 watts is a bit overkill. They could lose the wings and it would be better (IMHO) and cheaper.
I have a Jackery 500 and it only takes in up to 100 watts, while a Jackery 1000 can take in 200 watts.
