I started buying from Amazon when they were an online bookstore in 1995. They were small and hungry. Got my books quickly, even used hard to find out of print books.
When I call they occasionally mention how long I've been doing business with them.
I talked to LubeGard support, and the max was 2oz per quart. I am at 18oz right now. Start with the 15oz bottle. It is probably all you will need. My transmission was a mess.
I saw your signature statement and felt compelled to reply. Your statement touched my heart.
Nature abhors a vacuum. In a world of good and evil, my wife and I decided when we married to fill that void with goodness. We vowed to do something kind once a day for those we come in contact with...
I am at 7K trouble free miles since adding LubeGard Platinum with a double fluid change.... that is more mileage than I had driven the truck in the previous 2 years - due to the severe transmission issues!
I am changing the engine oil in the next few days, and will replace the transmission...
I use prime by the month 2-3 times a year. I've noticed that Amazon will give you a delivery date on the main product page, then when you go to checkout the date is later out. Sometimes the overnight date gets changed to 2-3 days out. I placed an order yesterday, and they committed to...
The engine exhaust note in that video brought back a LOT of memories. Just close your eyes and listen.
I loved the Chevy small block V8s. Everything from the 265ci to the 400ci. But my favorites were the 283 & 327. Just great engines to build up.
Dyson still offers a 2 battery model at $799, but it is expensive!
I was just investigating this myself. I think I'll stick with the the old Dyson DC14 cord model (carpet), and the Dyson Big Ball Multi floor canister corded (hardwood floors) that we use now.
I agree, but it is all about determining the baseline, then with each addition, pulling another dataset to see the delta gain of each step. That is the only way to determine what each modification achieved in performance. For instance:
Baseline result of stock engine and tune
Delta of tune...
0.1 second isn't a noticeable difference in normal driving. And under 6 seconds 0-60 is a respectable time for a pickup truck. Esp a 2.3l.
It will be interesting to see what a tune will bring. But torque was up quite a bit. How much is from the tune vs larger intake fan is the question.
I've got two Garmin GPS units from the same era. Still getting annual updates! One had a dim screen that would brighten up given a few minutes. Turns out to be a weak battery. Replaced both batteries. Both units still going strong.
What I found interesting is that both were purchased new...
I am interested in the funnel, but in no hurry. Mike, do what you do best. And take your time. I'll purchase when you are satisfied with your product.
Thank you again for your work.
You and ctechbob saved my transmission. And that is not an over the top statement. It is simply the...
You don't need the PPE pan to replace the fluid. I own a PPE Deep pan, but have not installed it yet. I will install the pan when I replace the filter at 50K miles. I use a $16 pump from Amazon to pull the fluid out the BMS Dipstick (The Fitzstick) tube. If you measure the fluid like I...
If you do manage to get a replacement transmission, change the fluid at regular short intervals (25K - 30K) and add in LubeGard Platinum. It will last much longer.
